Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: My book focuses on God, on who he is and on his presence and work in human life. God reveals and God conceals. Whether God manifests himself or hides himself is not mans prerogative. It is Almighty Gods prerogative. God is creator and sustainer of all that was, is, and is to be. There are times when the Creator-Sustainer, God, decides to intervene in human life. My book came to life in six years, as God awoke me many early mornings and wrote on the radar screen of my mind, Be still and know that I am God (Ps. 46:10, KJV). God further wrote, Get out of bed immediately. Go to the den, get the journal, and write. Gods initial intervention, and many subsequent early morning interventions in 20052011, resulted in God energizing my mind to think my best thoughts, which I wrote in the journal. God is the omnipotent, preeminent, and ultimate leader of the world. Notwithstanding, God is not coercive. God periodically intervenes in our lives and circumstances, and he does so without forcing us to obey him or follow his lead. When we follow Gods lead, we are following the lead of the One who knows the way and is the way. When we follow Gods lead, we are following the lead of the ultimate universal leader who knows all and who knows best.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Gods Divine Interventions is a very touching story of an eleven-year-old boy from Papua New Guinea whose hope was gone when told by neurosurgeons at Port Moresby General Hospital that nothing could be done to remove a mass (tumor), the size of a golf ball sitting on the left side of his brain stem. Further, the mass was blocking out fluids that were compressing his brain, causing those severe headaches and, more alarmingly, threatening his eyesight. Lacking proper medical equipment and expertise in the country, the only solution was an overseas trip that would cost a lot of money. This was a luxury the family couldnt afford, and time being of essence as fluids kept building up, the only hope was to leave it all in Gods hands. Gods Divine Interventions shares the emotional experiences of a broken mother pleading for her sons life at the feet of Jesus. It is an inspirational story that will hold your mind in awe of how God works when there seem to be no way at all.

She was about two and a half years old with no shoes or coat on. She was very tiny, white, and beautiful. Her fourteen-year-old pregnant slave mother arrived on a ship in New Orleans and was sold immediately to a plantation owner in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana. Martha attempted to save her child from the hurt and shame she was experiencing by leaving her in the field for a surrogate mother to raise. Mama Fannie grew up to be a Christian woman of character, raised her many biracial children in a loving manner, and was allowed to marry three of the fathers of her many children and became the root of her family—the Griffins.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Hebrew/Christian Scriptures include many allusions to pilgrimage customs and practices, yet the information is scattered and requires a considerable amount of reconstruction. It is posited that the pilgrimage paradigm, including the journey motif, has influenced the thought patterns of the writers of both the Old and New Testaments. To follow Jesus' journey to Jerusalem on the three feasts of pilgrimage in Luke-Acts and John, and their relevance to the way he revealed himself and taught his disciples, this work begins with the creation and patriarchal narratives, examining how the pilgrimage paradigm relates to discipleship. Reviewing the history of the people of God including the Exodus, the Exile, and restoration, this book establishes the significance of pilgrimage as a paradigm for Israel that eventually shapes Judaism. Seung Y Lee points us to a neglected fact that the three feasts of pilgrimage have developed their own characters and meanings for the momentous events in the history of Israel, and both Luke-Acts and John reflect the significance of the pilgrimage paradigm for Jesus' self-understanding and his teaching.

I wrote this book to share some of the many lessons I have learned throughout my life. Through these stories, I have been able to show my family and friends a different perspective on how to operate in life through God’s help. It includes some of my stories that are my daughters’ favorites for me to tell. They are from middle school, high school, college, and adulthood. The goal is to display how He has turned bad situations around for the good, even “okay” situations into better ones, in a relatable manner that people can connect to. I have seen how God can show up in our everyday lives, even when you least expect it. Through this book and all my stories, I want to show the sovereignty of God’s love and greatness in our day-to-day lives—some good, some funny, and some quite unique.

Book excerpt: Fingerprints of God is drawn from the authors experience during 50 years of parish ministry to a broad spectrum of worshippers, from teen-agers to senior citizens, from farmers to physicists, from blue collar workers to PhDs. All shared a common hunger to know God as an eternal reality in a world of change and pursued a quest to find reasons for faith. Evidence for the presence of God can be found in history, human experience and in Holy Scripture. Fingerprints of God relates contemporary situations to biblical precedents and personalities from Genesis to Revelation in search of Truth. The author follows the footsteps of others who found the fingerprints of Gods hand in their lives. With illustrations from literature, biography, and his own personal experience, he shares insights of pastors and teachers who guided his own faith journey. The reader follows the foibles and faith of Old Testament characters leading to the person and work of Jesus Christ, the finger of God among us (Luke 11:20). The significance of his life and death and resurrection as the foundation for our faith are the focus of the concluding chapters. The author makes no claim to be profound or prophetic. Each chapter is a simple attempt to answer some question or address a current issue or need in the life of ordinary people. None of the featured topics purport to be the last word on the subject under consideration. Like the words and works of Jesus, much more could be said which is not recorded in this book, but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. John 20:30-31.

This book was released on 2024-01-04 with total page 135 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is the outcome of the persistent nudging of the Paraclete in the author to shine the light on God's handiwork in his like. It is in keeping with Dr. Anthony Akubue's belief in giving credit to whom credit is due and his conviction not to let the favors of God to him a well-kept secret. You do the right thing when you light a lamp by putting it on a lampstand, not under a bowl or bed, for people to see. The author finds himself breaking down and crying occasionally, being overwhelmed that the Lord God loves a puny sinner like him. What you read in this book about the experiences of divine interventions in the life of the author will leave you in awe and conviction that God truly exists and is omnipotent, omniscience, and omnipresent. For instance, who was the old woman walking with a staff in hand that warned the author on September 4, 1968, afternoon to leave the site of a market square immediately, after which the market was heavily bombed and many people were slaughtered?
