Book excerpt: God, Nimrod, and the World presents the perspectives of more than two-dozen authors on the controversial sport of hunting, surveying the relationship between the blood sport and the salvation religion of Christianity. The first half of the book provides sketches of the diverse interpretations of hunting in Hebrew and Christian cultures of the last two millennia, finally giving voice to those in the field who are both practitioners and persons of faith. The second half offers prescriptions for the place of hunting in the life of contemporary Christians, with perspectives arguing for prohibition to those contending that hunting has a practical, even perfecting, place in the life of faith. The contributors, who hail from North America and the United Kingdom, include biblical scholars, theologians, philosophers, ethicists, historians, and sociologists, as well as professional athletes, celebrity hunters, teachers, musicians, healthcare professionals, and a soldier. Contributors include: Walter A. Abercrombie, Kenneth Bass, B. Jill Carroll, Steve Chapman, Ralph Cianciarulo, Gregory A. Clark, Dale Connally, Michel DeJean, Alastair J. Durie, Joshua P. Foster, Michael J. Gilmour, Shawn Graves, Bracy V. Hill II, Tammy Koenig, Nathan Kowalsky, Lisa M. Lepard, Stephanie Medley-Rath, W. E. Nunnally, Jase Robertson, Dennis Staffelbach, Jeremy S. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Bible barely mentions his name, but people of antiquity knew him well. Ancient historians recorded substantial information about him. Who was Nimrod? How could such a man be of such importance to today's believer? God's history is replete with accounts of His followers suffering terrible persecution. People of today's world are largely unaware of a lesser-known story, written by the blood of many believers at a time following God's destruction of the Old World. Nimrod was born into a New World, recently recreated by God. This virgin creation was untainted by the wickedness of the Old World. However, innocence did not last long. Eight people had traveled God's floodwaters of judgment in the security of His ark, but the curse of sin still tainted their souls. The prince of darkness wasted no time sowing seeds of rebellion in fertile hearts. He handpicked Nimrod to transform the New World into a cauldron of rebellion. The post-flood world began in present-day Iraq. Several cities conquered by Nimrod are still in existence today. The events happening in present-day Iraq are not coincidental. The world will witness more conflict and fulfilled Bible prophecy in this land until God's Seed returns to fulfill the ancient prophecy recorded in Genesis 3:15.

Book excerpt: This is a history of goddess-worship. Written like a graphic novel, this well-researched book shows how goddess worship "morphed" through the centuries until it climaxed in its present most common form: the worship of the Virgin Mary. In different cultures, the names were different, but the goddess was the same. She was the Queen of Heaven, the mother of the god. She became the Mediatrix through whom all must go to reach their god.Author David Daniels is a stickler for research, so no one will be surprised to find a 30-page section of End Notes, as well as annotated bibliography. You can check out his facts for yourself! It's a heavy subject, but the illustrations by Jack T Chick help to make the story flow, and a lot easier for the casual reader to understand.

Book excerpt: Large format 8.5x11, full colour high glossy pages with over 60 custom high-resolution maps, graphics and photos. When you get the chronology right, the cartography right and the archaeology right, you will get the Bible text right. What you read in the book you find in the ground! This is the Bible story of the origin of civilization after the global Noahic flood. Christian Archaeological Dating (CAD) requires that no archaeology predates the flood. Scripture dates creation to 5554 BC and the Flood to 3298 BC using the Septuagint. Eight Bible markers in Genesis 10-11 decode the date of the Tower of Babel to around 2850 BC. Archaeology informs us that the Tower of Babel was a Temple to Enki, the freshwater god and was similar in design to the Stepped Pyramid of Djoser in Egypt. In Sumerian flood stories, Enki was the rebel god who warned "Noah" to build the ark over the wishes of the supreme god Enlil who had decreed the destruction of mankind. Ancient Jewish, Christian and secular literary sources unanimous record that Nimrod built the Tower of Babel. Josephus tells us that Nimrod built the Tower of Babel to survive a possible second global flood. Archaeological excavations at Eridu (Babel) demonstrate how over 350 years, Nimrod built 17 pagan mudbrick temples, one upon the other, all dedicated to Enki, the "savior of mankind". In Sumerian myths, Enki also caused the division of languages at Babel (Gen 11). During this earliest period of post-flood civilization, "rebel" Nimrod plays a key and central role in almost every area. The identity of Nimrod is unknown, but he is best represented by the character of Enmerkar in Sumerian literary sources. Although excavations at biblical Babel (Tel Eridu) in the 1940's did not find any evidence of the Tower itself, evidence of the 300-meter square elevated platform upon which the Tower of Babel was going to be built has been documented. The city of Eridu (Babel) and the platform were abandoned for 750 years until the Assyrian King Ur-Nammu built a Ziggurat Temple to Enki upon it in 2100 BC. Abraham leaves Ur the very year that Ur-Nammu begins construction of the Ziggurat in 2100 BC. To the Christian Nimrod is antitypical of Satan, Absalom and Judas as the epitome of rebellion, treason and betrayal against the One True God. The Tower of Babel represents false world religions and false Christian doctrines.

Book excerpt: "The Sumerians, the Phoenicians, the Thracians, the Cimmerians, and other people of Europe and Middle East spoke the same language (Holy Bible; Genesis 11:6) and worshipped the same gods..." wrote author and Biblical history investigator Garegin Nalbandian in his The Legend Of Hayk And Bel Nimrod. The book was enjoyable because it was easy to read and understand. The Legend Of Hayk And Bel Nimrod provides information about the establishment of the many nations of the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. People should read this book to understand the past because it is just as important for people to understand the past as it is important to understand the present. It provides important information and innovative explanations about the Biblical and mythical events of the ancient world. It's amazing how much knowledge of Biblical history this book can provide to those who read it...The Legend of Hayk was so significant that Lord George Gordon Byron and his colleagues considered adding it to the Bible; however, they did not succeed. The Legend Of Hayk And Bel Nimrod written by Garegin D. Nalbandian (Kar-e-kint) is based on the Legend of Hayk. It is about the epic battle of Hayk against Bel Nimrod, which took place approximately 2500 B.C. during the time when the Tower of Babel collapsed, and Nimrod decided to conquer the world. Hayk and his allies decided to stand against the armies of Nimrod. Both Hayk and Nimrod were developing events against one another because for both kings it was a matter of life and death to destroy one another. They thought that their moves would help create favorable positions for the inevitable war, for their war decided the future of the world...

Book excerpt: Ever wish someone could give you a big handle on the entire Bible without years of study? Well, this book not only promises to give you that big handle—it will deliver on the promise. You should be asking, how is this possible? The Bible is one story told over and over again, with many variations on the same theme. This structure is the Bible’s DNA. This basic seven-point pattern is the heartbeat of the Creation. It is the cycle of a human day and a human life. It is the pattern of the Tabernacle. It is the process of agriculture. It undergirds the speeches and Laws of God. It orders the rise and fall of nations and empires. It is also the structure of our worship. It is the rhythm of Christ, and it will open the Bible for you like never before.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: There are so many questions in our life that we could not get the satisfactory answers – Why do fossils occurred; why are human beings superior to other creatures; why do human beings speak different languages; what is the origin of idol worship; how giants existed in this world in the ancient times; who built huge structures like the Egyptian’s pyramids; how did people go and live in secluded islands in the midst of vast oceans since ancient times; why didn’t people invent modern machines and equipments since ancient times when human beings have no different brain structures; why did powerful empires - Egyptian, Babylonian, Persian, Grecian, Roman sequentially exist in this earth; why are Christmas traditions celebrated fervently both in the Christian world and non-Christian world. When God saved me, He gradually revealed the answers to the above questions directly and indirectly. He then inspired me to write down the answers in the form of a Book which reflected God’s love story to save fallen human beings. In doing this, the war broke out between God and the power of darkness (Satan) who tried to prevent the Seed of the Woman (Jesus) from being born into this earth. In short, Satan tried to enslave human beings and keep the world under his control forever. But God’s plan is superior to Satan’s deceptive devices. God’s plan to bring back saved human beings to a perfect life as in the days of the Garden of Eden would soon be manifested any time now

Nimrod: The Mighty Hunter chronicles the journey of the biblical character of Nimrod—the rebellious king often associated with the Tower of Babel. From the quiet, serene surrounds of his village to the danger and fighting of the city, read as Nimrod trains up the Babylonian army to protect Babel and discover how this so-called “gang of five” embark on an energetic race for supremacy. Training an ever-increasing army to destroy surrounding towns, Nimrod and Semiramis become engrossed in their newfound powers. A cautionary tale of Noah’s great-grandson comes alive from the pages of the Bible in this captivating retelling of Nimrod’s rise to power.
