Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Discover how the healing power of crystals can be used to enhance the wellbeing and happiness of the animals in your care. Crystal healing is as effective and potent a healing art today as it was in the time of the ancient Egyptians. It is even more effective with animals than for humans, and any pet owner or animal caregiver can easily learn to master the basic techniques of choosing and cleansing crystals, dowsing and crystal massage, making crystal essences, and the use of crystal layouts in healing. Crystal Healing for Animals explains these methods in plain and simple language and will be useful for beginners and experienced crystal users alike. Crystal healing allows us to take an active role in the health of our animal companions, in the sure knowledge that we can do no wrong. Crystals have a healing energy that is powerful and profound, but is completely safe and gentle. Take a guided tour of thirty of the most commonly used and effective healing crystal and gemstones, showing how you can easily and inexpensively build up a collection that will last a life time and go on providing healing support to your animal friends as the years go by. Animal problems covered include: abuse and trauma, allergies, bereavement and grief, hyperactivity, constipation, inflammation, low immunity, muscle strains and pains, post-surgical recovery, stress, training problems and animal/human relationships, and much more. This book also contains special sections on training and animal rescue, showing the role that crystals can play in this context. Martin Scott and Gael Mariani are the founders and directors of the Society for Animal Flower Essence Research (S.A.F.E.R). They are the authors and tutors of many courses on natural animal healthcare including the Animal Care College’s Complementary Therapies for Pets. They have lectured internationally on the subject. S.A.F.E.R provides training and education to UK animal welfare charities such as the Cinnamon Trust and RSPCA. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Most Luther scholars have focused largely on the polemical side of the Reformer, with occasional allusion to his Devotional Writings in volumes 42 and 43 of the American editions. The aim of this book is to unfold the pastoral, not the polemical, side of the reformer, drawing on the spiritual insights he offers to people of high and low estate. These writings are devotional and catechetical in shape and intent, yet not devoid of rich theological substance, the fruit of his rigorous reflections. They are the exercises of Luther's basic calling as a theologian-pastor, and are the concrete illustrations of the interface of theology and piety, the former being the abiding presupposition and logical cause of the latter. Through them, readers are informed not only of the Reformation theology of justification, but also introduced to a distinct expression of the Christian faith in which Christ and his cross occupy the centre stage. What is noticeable is the one single overarching theme--God's ways with people--that the Reformer, as a spiritual adviser, sought to relate to the events of his days such as evils, severe afflictions, the prevalent lay abuse of the Eucharist. He counseled how to meditate aright on Christ's passion, prepare to face the terror of death, advise the sick, rightly approach the sacrament of the altar, why and how to pray aright, what benefits could be gained from the Lord's Prayer, and how to live out a life of discipleship under the cross. Ngien's work reveals Luther as a true theologian, i.e., theologian of the cross at work in the pastoral context.

Book excerpt: If you have ever seen a person who was ailing and wanted to help, it's time for you to get Crystal Healing by Phyllis Galde. With the help of this book you will learn how to use crystals and common gemstones to heal the mind, body, and spirit of friends, family, and yourself. This book begins with a scientific introduction to crystals: how they're created, what they look like, and their different forms. The book looks at them from a historical viewpoint as well, including a survey of the use of crystal balls. Crystal Healing is really the next step in this process. It reveals the secrets of a special type of crystal known as electronic quartz. In this form it is perfectly clear and without any flaws. There are no impurities to interrupt or alter the flow of energy through them. They are the ideal tools for healing. Here you will learn that crystals work to amplify what you are sending. The book reveals easy-to-follow techniques that will allow you to program the crystals for any purpose. You'll discover how to use them to heal yourself and others; how they can help to reprogram your subconscious, heal pets, make special spiritual tools, and create amulets; and even discover how to program them to create the dreams you desire. For a book that is both scientific and spiritual, for learning about the ancient traditions and the modern methods of working with crystal and gem healers, you must get Crystal Healing.
