Der erste Teil gibt einen kurzen Überblick zum aktuellen Kenntnisstand in Bezug auf das Asperger-Syndrom. Dabei wird kurz die Entstehung des Begriffs beschrieben und die einzelnen Diagnosekriterien werden vorgestellt. Des Weiteren werden einige zentrale Begrifflichkeiten, die in Verbindung mit Asperger stehen, beschrieben. Dabei wird auf wissenschaftliche Literatur, teilweise auch auf Tagungsberichten von Fachtagungen, zurückgegriffen. Als letztes werden einige der möglichen Diagnose- und Therapieverfahren bei Asperger dargestellt. Im zweiten Teil der Arbeit werden als Handlungsproblem die für die Fallstudie relevanten Fragestellungen bearbeitet. Für die Fallanalyse werden dabei in Form von Fragebögen wissenschaftliche Methoden angewendet. Des Weiteren werden für die Fallanalyse Protokolle verwendet. Mit diesen Mitteln soll eine Beschreibung des Betroffenen erfolgen.

It can end in suicide or even murder-suicide and in a distinct pathological state known as “Posttraumatic Embitterment Disorder (PTED)”. But despite the high prevalence rates, the detrimental effects on individuals and its forensic and societal importance, embitterment has yet to receive due scientific attention.
