They’re good religious people similar to the Amish, honest, hardworking—and they’re hiding some dreadful secrets. Included in this collection are four novels, all inspired by true events: Grounds to Believe, in which a cop specializing in cult investigations must infiltrate the Elect with the help of a desperate insider who fears something dreadful is happening in her family. Pocketful of Pearls, where a homeless man and an abused young woman find freedom when they unexpectedly join forces. The Sound of Your Voice, in which a cop investigates a charismatic preacher who seems too good to be true, and the young woman who learns the difference between truth and illusion. Over Her Head, where a mother must face the possibility that her daughter has been involved in a terrible crime. "A brave and talented author who looks at the darkness as well as the light.” —Mary Jo Putney The books can be read as standalones, though the characters all know one another and appear in each other's stories. No strong language, just a dollop of suspense, a loving kiss, and a guaranteed happily ever after.

Book excerpt: Are you tapping into the miracles that God promised you? This book will change my perspective of God to see that no matter what the enemy or the world throws at me, He has given me thousands of promises to overcome these obstacles. For forty-five years, Larry and Tiz Huch have been teaching believers how to access the promises God has given in His Word. They have shared keys for activating, receiving, and releasing miracles, and taught principles of faith and prayer to help believers reach God's great destiny for their lives. But in the last three years, the Huchs have gained an even deeper revelation of how to overcome the enemy's attacks and access God's promises as they walked through two life-altering traumas--and two life-altering victories. Both Tiz Huch and the Huchs' seven-month-old grandson, Lion, were diagnosed with aggressive forms of cancer and faced grim prognoses. But God had the last word! In Miracles by the Moment, pastors Larry and Tiz Huch share their journey through one of the most challenging seasons of their lives and how they walked out, moment by moment, the foundational principles of prayer and faith they've lived by and taught for years. Drawing lessons from the Huchs' journey as well as others who walked through different circumstances, this book offers hope and encouragement for those facing various types of challenges--in their families, marriages, finances, careers, or health. Sometimes breakthrough comes in the form of one giant miracle. More often, it comes in the form of thousands of small miracles that add up to huge breakthroughs! We don't have to beg God to help and bless us. He already has! This book will teach readers what God promises us and the steps they can take to enter into those promises.

Book excerpt: “A brave and talented author who looks at the darkness as well as the light.” —Mary Jo Putney He’d find Kailey some day. One assignment at a time. One prayer at a time. A cult took Ross Malcolm’s ex-girlfriend and baby daughter six years ago. He’s never stopped looking for his little girl ... and now he has a sidearm, a badge, and a soul-deep commitment to protect the innocent. When the state's elite Organized Crime Task Force assigns him to Smoke River, Washington, to find out why the death rate among children belonging to an obscure religious group is so high, he’s sure it’s going to be one of the toughest cases of his career. But first, he has to find a way in … Julia McNeill is the daughter of an Elder and the almost-fiancée of a prospective Deacon in the plain church known as the Elect of God. Her future position is secure … except that she’s not sure she wants it. She’s never quite been able to fit in, to measure up in comparison with her dazzling sister, who married an Elder and produced two beautiful kids. It breaks Julia’s heart that her nephew Ryan is so close to death and no one can figure out why … but when she asks questions, the church leadership shuts her out. And then a biker with eyes that have seen too much walks into the bookstore where Julia works, and everything about her life begins to change … including the definition of forbidden ... and her belief in God’s ability to keep her and her nephew safe. “Suspenseful and intriguing, Grounds to Believe starts off running and never slows down.” —RT Book Reviews Grounds to Believe is the first novel in the inspirational Breaking Faith domestic suspense series. Download or read book Fibonacci Tales written by eLBe and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2016-10-31 with total page 244 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Fibonacci Tales are fiction written in the format of the Fibonacci sequence, hence the name Fibonacci Tales. What Fibonacci did is plug a 0 and a 1 and set the rule to always add the next two numbers. Each Fibonacci Tales book has: two one-page chapters, one two-page chapter, one three-page chapter, one five-page chapter, one eight-page chapter, one thirteen-page chapter, one twenty-one-page chapter, one thirty-four-page chapter, one fifty-five-page chapter, and one eighty-nine-page chapter for a total of 232 pages per book. Fibonacci Tales are written for all ages and in paired sets of books. The first pair of Fibonacci Tales books are Fibonacci Tales Vampire Tales and Fibonacci Tales Knights Tales. The second pair of Fibonacci Tales books are Fibonacci Tales Dust Tales and Fibonacci Tales Mother Tales. The third pare of Fibonacci Tales books will be called Fibonacci Tales Cat Tales and Fibonacci Tales Goddess Tales. These books are works in progress during mid-September 2016. The author expects to complete the third pair of Fibonacci Tales books and available around early to mid-2017. Fibonacci Tales books are designed for electronic book reading. Each pair of books includes music callouts that are essential to the stories (music has the power to calm the savage beast), and therefore, Fibonacci Tales books do not lend themselves to printed book format. Plus the cost of printing two pairs of books and pressing two CDs for each pair of books would not be cost-effective, and it would be an outright irritant for the dear reader who would have to advance the CD one tune at a time and stop the CD before the next tune began as CD players are designed to do. I would utterly hate to read Fibonacci Tales in printed book format. For that reason alone, scratch the idea of publishing Fibonacci Tales in physical book format. I will not agree. On the plus side again, I have two disinterested readers who will read and comment on Fibonacci Tales books once they are available in e-book format.
