Download or read book Point of Pines Pueblo written by Tammy Stone and published by University of Utah Anthropolog. This book was released on 2020-03-31 with total page 240 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "The University of Arizona ran archaeological field schools at Point of Pines Pueblo between 1947 and 1960. This pueblo is an 800-room site occupied between AD 1250-1400 in the Mogollon Highlands of central Arizona. Although Stone previously published evidence for this Pueblo being a Mogollon multiethnic community with Kayenta migrants (Stone 2015), descriptions of the complete architectural and excavation data have never been published. These remain in field notes and were utilized by Stone for this project. This site is considered important for addressing current questions in archaeology today-migration, ethnic interactions, and community organization."--
