Such an ends-justifies-the-means mentality must be brought to the attention of educators, special educators, and deaf educators as being an ethically unacceptable way to prepare our students as the future leaders of tomorrow's communitiies, governments, and institutions. Society has entrusted our superintendents and principals with ethical, fiduciary, and professional responsibilities in committing themselves to establishing a positive learning environment for our students. School administrators who courageously walk-the-talk must be in touch with their own ethical leadership styles so they will be able to lead both effectiviely and inspirationally in a positive way that influence their school communities, and to guarantee that deaf studetns receive the best qualiity of education, especially in deaf education, by asking "what are the characterisitics that define ethical behavior and ethical cultures in our schools for the deaf?"
