Book Synopsis Vom operativen Konstruktivismus zu Luhmanns Systemtheorie by : Daniel Dorniok
Download or read book Vom operativen Konstruktivismus zu Luhmanns Systemtheorie written by Daniel Dorniok and published by GRIN Verlag. This book was released on 2007 with total page 57 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.
Book Synopsis Erkenntnis — Konstruktivismus — Systemtheorie by : Stefan Jensen
Download or read book Erkenntnis — Konstruktivismus — Systemtheorie written by Stefan Jensen and published by VS Verlag für Sozialwissenschaften. This book was released on 1999-09-15 with total page 508 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.
Book Synopsis Die Gottesvorstellungen in der antik-jüdischen Apokalyptik by : Stefan Beyerle
Download or read book Die Gottesvorstellungen in der antik-jüdischen Apokalyptik written by Stefan Beyerle and published by BRILL. This book was released on 2005-07-01 with total page 559 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This monograph studies the theological motivations behind certain Jewish apocalypses by focusing on the mighty acts of God recounted in these writings. In particular, the work examines the various depictions of God’s acts and attributes as a means for learning about the individuals and groups responsible for the transmission of these apocalypses. Three prominent motifs, among others, receive attention here: theophanies (e.g., I Enoch 1:3–9; 25:3; 77:1; Daniel 4:10, 20; 7:9–10, 13–14), portrayals of the resurrection (e.g., I Enoch 102 – 104; Daniel 12:1–3), and interpretations of the (Babylonian) Exile in connection with the “new creation” (e.g., Qumran, Jubilees, Pseudo-Philo). Apocalypticism provides a framework for various theologies. Generally speaking, God is shown as the most prominent figure in these dramas of eschatological events. The authors of these writings typically held that their only deliverance could arise from the imminent arrival of an otherworldly eon ushered in by the power of God.
Book Synopsis Realismus, Disziplin, Interdisziplinarität by : Dariusz Aleksandrowicz
Download or read book Realismus, Disziplin, Interdisziplinarität written by Dariusz Aleksandrowicz and published by Rodopi. This book was released on 2001 with total page 350 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Synopsis Organization and Decision by : NIklas Luhmann
Download or read book Organization and Decision written by NIklas Luhmann and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 2018-11-08 with total page 421 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Translated into English for the first time, Luhmann's modern classic, Organization and Decision, explores how organizations work; how they should be designed, steered, and controlled; and how they order and structure society. Luhmann argues that organization is order, yet indeterminate. In this book, he shows how this paradox enables organizations to embed themselves within society without losing autonomy. In developing his autopoietic perspective on organizations, Luhmann applies his general theory of social systems by conceptualizing organizations as selfreproducing systems of decision communications. His innovative and interdisciplinary approach to the material (spanning organization studies, management and sociology) is integral to any study of organizations. This new translation, edited by one of the world's leading experts on Luhmann, enables researchers and graduate students across the English-speaking world to access Luhmann's ideas more readily.

Book Synopsis Ecological Communication by : Niklas Luhmann
Download or read book Ecological Communication written by Niklas Luhmann and published by University of Chicago Press. This book was released on 1989-08-15 with total page 208 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Niklas Luhmann is widely recognized as one of the most original thinkers in the social sciences today. This major new work further develops the theories of the author by offering a challenging analysis of the relationship between society and the environment. Luhmann extends the concept of "ecology" to refer to any analysis that looks at connections between social systems and the surrounding environment. He traces the development of the notion of "environment" from the medieval idea—which encompasses both human and natural systems—to our modern definition, which separates social systems from the external environment. In Luhmann's thought, human beings form part of the environment, while social systems consist only of communications. Utilizing this distinctive theoretical perspective, Luhmann presents a comprehensive catalog of society's reactions to environmental problems. He investigates the spheres of the economy, law, science, politics, religion, and education to show how these areas relate to environmental issues. Ecological Communication is an important work that critically examines claims central to our society—claims to modernity and rationality. It will be of great importance to scholars and students in sociology, political science, philosophy, anthropology, and law.

Book Synopsis System Theory in Geomorphology by : Kirsten von Elverfeldt
Download or read book System Theory in Geomorphology written by Kirsten von Elverfeldt and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2012-03-12 with total page 147 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Empirical research needs a profound theory to be successful. This is the simple but, in its consequences, radical approach for this study in geomorphology. It critically analyses the current system understanding and offers a new view for a geomorphology that understands systems as being open but at the same time operationally closed, as self-organized, structure-building and potentially self-referential. Kirsten von Elverfeldt succeeds in designing a theoretical framework that sets new standards within Physical Geography. By using state-of-the-art concepts in system theory, it offers also new bridges to Human Geography as well as to other neighbouring disciplines. This book was awarded the Dissertation prize 2010 of the German Working Group in Geomorphology of the DGfG and the Hans Bobek-prize of the ÖGG (Austrian Geographical Society).
