Paul Buckley is a Quaker historian and theologian, well-known among Friends of all stripes for his workshops, short courses, and retreats. He married Jemima Seaman 2 January 1771 and they lived in Jericho, New York. Although Elias worked as a carpenter and surveyor, he began his life as a minister in New York ca. 1778 and traveled all over the New England states to preach his sermons in the meetings of the Friends. Elias died in the year 1830.
