Otro documento esencial que se reproduce es el "Convenio de Basilea sobre el control de los movimientos transfronterizos de los desechos peligrosos y su eliminacion". Incluye tambien la "Directiva 78/319/CEE de la Comunidad Economica Europea relativa a residuos toxicos y peligrosos. Los capitulos II y III del documento de la EPA "Hazardous waste and consolidated permit regulations", aportan la identificacion, caracteristicas y listado de los residuos peligrosos. El documento "Third general administrative regulation implementing the Waste Act" del gobierno aleman ofrece instrucciones tecnicas para el almacenamiento, tratamiento fisico-quimico y disposicion de residuos peligrosos. En cuanto a la legislacion en America Latina se reproducen leyes y reglamentos de Venezuela, Mexico y Argentina.
