En segundo lugar, en los planteamientos del cronista Alberto Salcedo Ramos, quien aporta a la reflexión acerca de la importancia de la comprensión lectora y la utilización del texto, como requisitos para desarrollarse de la mejor manera en la vida cotidiana y en la sociedad a través de la crónica. Con el objetivo de analizar los principales inconvenientes que se evidencian durante el proceso de formación de los estudiantes, se ha encontrado que la lectura ha sido una de la mayor problemática, por lo tanto, en este proyecto se trataran y se abordaran pedagógicamente los métodos para fortalecer la comprensión lectora en la escuela. Mauricio Pérez Abril nos ofrece el terreno que debemos buscar, este no es otro que el de revisar los modos con los que se enseña, nos ofrece métodos, medidas que nos guían a repensar la enseñanza, no olvidando que existe una correspondencia entre el medio de decir y lo que se dice. Cuando se habla de la escritura, es imprescindible mencionar la oralidad, para ubicarse y abordar el problema desde su origen ya que de la comprensión lectora parte una base fundamental de la escritura. Por lo tanto, para enseñar el docente debe, ante todo, comprender que los significados deben partir de la experiencia individual y proyectada a esas experiencias de mundo que tienen los niños. Abordar desde ese campo emotivo y cognitivo la educación en general.

Esta propuesta didáctica tuvo como base, registro en fotos y trabajo de los niños, además documentación escrita por parte de las docentes investigadoras. Finalmente se aplicó una prueba saber, para analizar los cambios presentados en el grupo de estudiantes y también presentar los resultados obtenidos en las pruebas propuestas y su respectivo análisis. .

Book excerpt: An analysis of divergent online news preferences of journalists and consumers and what this means for media and democracy in the digital age. The websites of major media organizations—CNN, USA Today, the Guardian, and others—provide the public with much of the online news they consume. But although a large proportion of the top stories these sites disseminate cover politics, international relations, and economics, users of these sites show a preference (as evidenced by the most viewed stories) for news about sports, crime, entertainment, and weather. In this book, Pablo Boczkowski and Eugenia Mitchelstein examine the divergence in preferences and consider its implications for the media industry and democratic life in the digital age. Drawing on analyses of more than 50,000 stories posted on twenty news sites in seven countries in North and South America and Western Europe, Boczkowski and Mitchelstein find that the gap in news preferences exists regardless of ideological orientation or national media culture, and that it is not affected by innovations in forms of storytelling, such as blogs and user-generated content on mainstream news sites. Drawing upon these findings, they explore the news gap's troubling consequences for the matrix that connects communication, technology, and politics in the digital age.

It espouses a definition of space that is heterogeneous (an object or system consisting of a diverse range of different items). An example of heterogeneous space, for instance, is Manhattan where complex and multiple social and technological conditions are overlaid. (This is to be contrasted with highly centralised and ordered Modernist cities.) With the onset of globalisation and the Web, heterogeneneous space, with its emphasis on differentiation, is more relevant to the contemporary condition, which encourages the mixing of space, than a much more static conception of Modernist space. This book foregrounds spatial issues and the potential of heterogeneous space through a threefold strategy: 1) Its compilation of seminal essays on the discourse of heterogeneous space. These are to include previously published key texts by Reyner Banham, Andrew Benjamin, Robin Evans, Jeff Kipnis and Henri Lefebvre, as well as new texts by important contemporary commentators, such as Mark Cousins, Werner Durth and Anthony Vidler. 2) By commenting on these seminal texts and drawing links between them. 3) By distilling from the first two efforts a contemporary outlook on a discourse of heterogeneous space that is of future significance.
