Download or read book International Sports Law and Business written by Aaron N. Wise and published by Kluwer Law International B.V.. This book was released on 1997-05-23 with total page 984 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This comprehensive, three-volume set focuses on the legal and business aspects of sports in the United States and abroad. The authors have presented the subject matter from a practical and pragmatic perspective, yet with analytical precision and attention to fine points of detail. International Sports Law and Business is composed of five parts. Part I deals with the law and business of sports in the United States, with the primary emphasis on the legal aspects of professional sports. Part II deals with the internationalization of sports from various perspectives, principally North American team sports. Part III explores the law and business of sports in 18 non-U.S. jurisdictions andndash; subject matter hardly covered in other sources, if at all. Part IV treats the legal and, to some extent, business aspects of broadcasting and sports, both in the United States and in selected foreign jurisdictions. Part V focuses upon sports marketing in its various forms in the United States, as well as its international perspectives. This easy-to-read work is unmatched in that it covers subjects not addressed or only tangentially addressed in other works, presents insiders perspectives on the subject matter, and focuses extensively on international aspects of sports law and business in connection with many different subjects. Among its exhibits, International Sports Law and Business includes a World League of American Football Standard Player Contract form, a sample World League of American Football Acquisition and Operation Agreement, Statute of Court of Arbitration for Sport and Regulations. It also includes a comprehensive index. Its unique coverage and practical features make International Sports Law and Business a critical reference for agents, attorneys, and other practitioners involved in international sports law or handling a trust where one or more of the assets is sports-related, or considering expanding an existing practice area. Those involved in the study of sports law will also appreciate this high quality work.

Download or read book Restatement of Labour Law in Europe written by Bernd Waas and published by Bloomsbury Publishing. This book was released on 2020-01-09 with total page 1113 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is part of a series which sets out a restatement of labour law in Europe. Its second volume looks at atypical employment relationships in Europe. Opening with a restatement, the book provides comparative commentary on the question of how fixed-term employment relationships, part-time employment relationships and temporary agency work is regulated by law in the individual states, which case law of the courts must be observed in this respect and which possibilities exist for shaping such relationships on the basis of collective bargaining agreements. The book goes on to systematically explore the national regulatory framework of: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom. In this area, which is largely shaped by EU law in many countries, the commonalities and differences with regard to the relevant regulatory issues are examined. This important new project provides the definitive survey of labour law in Europe today.

Book Synopsis Los derechos «comunes» del deportista profesional by : Fulgencio Pagán Matín-Portugués
Download or read book Los derechos «comunes» del deportista profesional written by Fulgencio Pagán Matín-Portugués and published by Editorial Reus. This book was released on 2018-04-09 with total page 392 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.
Download or read book La extinción de la relación laboral de los deportistas profesionales written by Emilio García Silvero and published by Aranzadi. This book was released on 2008 with total page 298 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.
