He graduated from IIT BHU and post-graduated from BITS Pilani. After his studies, he joined a PSU and worked at senior positions for 20 years. Later he got engaged in his own software business for another 20 years. Now, living a retired life at Vikas Nagar in Lucknow. His wife retired from CSIR-IITR as Chief Scientist. Two married sons settled in Singapore and the US. During his studies at BITS Pilani, he attended discourses on Bhagavad Gita by Swami Chinmayananda himself. Based on the inspiring thoughts in Gita 365 from Swami Chinmayananda discourses, he started tweeting on the subject and self-published a book of his tweets as Daily Dose of Devotion - 365 Musings on the Gita.
