Research on creativity has increasingly become multilevel, with most work conducted at the individual or team level of analysis. Da die größten Defizite in der Vernetzung und Kommunikation gesehen werden, findet zunächst eine detailliertere Betrachtung der Anwendung und Grundlagen der Telemedizin statt. In diesem Zuge werden auch die Rolle der elektronischen Patientenakte (ePA) und rechtliche Hürden miteinbezogen. Im weiteren Vorgehen wird die Digitalisierung im Gesundheitswesen in ihrer Gesamtheit betrachtet. Aus Quellen der Literatur wurde ein Reifegrad-Modell entworfen. Dabei wurden einzelne, für die Gesamtheit des Digitalisierungsfortschritts relevante, Dimensionen ausfindig gemacht. Durch die Aggregation aktueller Studien und Artikel sollen den entwickelten Dimensionen quantitative und qualitative Aussagen über das deutsche Gesundheitswesen zugeordnet werden. Zu diesen Studien zählt unter anderem eine Studie des Bundesministeriums für Wirtschaft und Energie, sowie eine Studie der Unternehmensberatung McKinsey. Um diese Aussagen in einen besseren Kontext zu setzten, sollen sie nachfolgend gegenüber dem Abschneiden internationaler Vorreiter gestellt werden. Ein genauerer Fokus wird hierbei auf das Gesundheitssystem von Dänemark gelegt, da es zu einem der Fortschrittlichsten weltweit zählt. Im letzten Teil sollen (länder- und gebietsunabhängiger) ausgewählte Einflüsse analysiert werden. Hierbei sollen zuerst der Einfluss des kulturellen Wandels und die Veränderung der Arzt-zu-Patient-Beziehung erläutert werden. Anschließend sollen dahingehend Auswirkungen und Möglichkeiten betrachtet werden. Zuletzt werden kurz Herausforderungen des demographischen Wandels angesprochen und beispielhaft erläutert, wo die Digitalisierung bei der Überalterung unterstützend wirksam sein kann.

The term "data information literacy" has been adopted with the deliberate intent of tying two emerging roles for librarians together. By viewing information literacy and data services as complementary rather than separate activities, the contributors seek to leverage the progress made and the lessons learned in each service area. The intent of the publication is to help librarians cultivate strategies and approaches for developing data information literacy programs of their own using the work done in the multiyear, IMLS-supported Data Information Literacy (DIL) project as real-world case studies.
