Dentro del amplio universo del derecho, encontramos un área fundamental en la vida diaria de las personas, como lo es el derecho mercantil, rama autónoma del derecho privado. En las actividades más comunes de nuestra cotidianidad, como usar la tarjeta de crédito, pagar el transporte, emitir un chequeo un pagaré, efectuar cualquier operación bancaria, realizar una compraventa, etcétera, está presente el derecho mercantil.
