The Denmark Manor Church was built in 1815 as a union church of Lutheran and Reformed congregations. In 1888 the Lutherans sold their interest in the old site to the Reformed congregation. A small Lutheran group moved a short distance away and kept the name of Denmark Manor. The larger group moved into Boquet and built St. John's Lutheran Church. This group continued the church records.
