Book excerpt: From the Trojan Horse to Gulf War subterfuge, this far-reaching military history examines the importance and ingenuity of wartime deception campaigns. The art of military deception is as old as the art of war. This fascinating account of the practice draws on conflicts from around the world and across millennia. The examples stretch from the very beginnings of recorded military history—Pharaoh Ramses II's campaign against the Hittites in 1294 B.C.—to modern times, when technology has placed a stunning array of devices into the arsenals of military commanders. Military historians often underestimate the importance of deception in warfare. This book is the first to fully describe its value. Jon Latimer demonstrates how simple tricks have been devastatingly effective. He also explores how technology has increased the range and subtlety of what is possible—including bogus radio traffic, virtual images, even false smells. Deception in War includes examples from land, sea, and air to show how great commanders have always had, as Winston Churchill put it, that indispensable “element of legerdemain, an original and sinister touch, which leaves the enemy puzzled as well as beaten.”

Book excerpt: BOOK ONE: AFRICANS STILL IN FETTERS Patrice Emery Lumumba, Congo’s First Prime Minister and President said at All-African Conference in 1960, “The Colonialists care for nothing for Africa for her own sake. They are attracted by African riches and their actions are guided by the desire to preserve their interests in Africa against the wishes of the African people. For colonialists allmeans are good if they help them to possess these riches.” An African adage says; “if you close your eyes to facts, you will learn through accidents.” The above and so many other quotes which are used as emphases on the results of research works into the claims of some notable African leaders indicate that Western Nations are not as friendly as they seemright from the time of slave trade. The playwright attempts to present the results of his research works on why African nations are never free from conflicts, economic, social and political servitude through the use of different academic papers that are treated in educational dramas with the titles “Grand Conspiracies Against Africa”, “The Speeches Of Discord”, “The Conspiracy Theory Of History”, “The Brain Development Of A Child”, “The Problem With Technology”, “The Handover Of Legacy”, “The Warmongering Nations”, “The Slave Masters In Africa” and “Mothers: The DeterminantsOf Destinies” in book one. BOOK TWO: SPIRITUAL BONDAGE With studied cases that are peculiar to Africa, the author attempts to explain some mysteries relating to cultism; witchcraft; black magic and others. These dramas titled: “The Threats Of Cult Members On Campus”, The Choice Of Death”, “Lagidi: The Spirit Husband”, “The Mirage Of A Marriage”, “Truth Is The Weapon Of Freedom”, “The Enemies Of Marriage”, “The Wrath Of An Accuser” and “House Of God In A Mess” are mostly based on real life experiences. They paint vivid pictures of how thespirit realm can influence the physical world.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A Book about Current Events in Light of Apocalyptic Trumpets Trumpets were signaling devices in ancient Israel, and a metaphorical and amazing message is hidden in them for the modern human being. The relationship between freedom and responsibility is a very current topic. Who has the authority to define the limits of freedom and responsibility? Which entity has the authority to decide who has the right to access freedoms? The forces of evil, including the Antichrist, aim to take the hold of this authority by deception. The great controversy between light and darkness concentrates on these issues, and it is a battle for our mindset and attitudes. Jesus Christ will have victory in the end. However, it is important to know the means of the hoax of Satan and the Antichrist, so that we would not be deceived. A global medical deception is part of the hoax. Liberty of conscience, not totalitarianism, is at the heart of God’s mindset and government. The interpretation of the trumpets has a long tradition. This book continues the tradition by concentrating on the fifth and the sixth trumpet. Often in Protestantism the events of the fifth and the sixth trumpet are either situated into the past (so called traditional interpretation in Adventism) or they are seen to reach until the present time. In this book, we unite the two views and think that the trumpets are repeated in history. We aim to let the Bible interpret itself. Both global deception and freedom of conscience are issues which are grounded on God’s Word. The book is a self-published work, and it contains 259 pages.

Book excerpt: "When people lie to Baer Creighton their eyes glow red and he experiences a small burst of electricity. It hurts to suffer liars-- and Baer learned long ago that everyone lies. So he sleeps in the woods outside his house, converses with his sole companion, a pit bull named Fred, and distills special blends of fruited moonshine. When Fred is stolen, fought in an illegal fight circle and left for dead, Baer vows to set things right. He has all the skill he needs to find each man present at the fight circle that night and park a pile of hell on his front porch. But when he tips his hand he becomes the hunted, and the war he thought would be settled in a single attack becomes a battle of attrition with violence coming at him from all angles. When the battle escalates to the unthinkable, Baer concots a retribution so horrifying it gives him pause. To implement the ultimate vengeance Baer will have to confront his past, the liars he has loved, and the biggest lie of all. You can be damn sure he does. Evil doesn't come easy for Baer Creighton, but it comes."--Back cover.

Book excerpt: The Politics of Deception: Target America addresses the age-old subject of deception in politics as it has occurred throughout our nation's history with warnings we have received through scripture and iconic spiritual leaders and others concerning its menacing presence. Never has its presence in our domestic and international political environments been so apparent and pervasive. The hostile and polarizing state of those environments is the result of decades of deception, corruption, influence peddling, and espionage to support the infiltration and subversion of our government, educational and religious institutions, and society. It is much more apparent since the 2016 presidential election that we are witnessing a resurgence of the radical Left. Their militant secularist and socialist ideology and agenda is being aided and abetted by elements of our own and foreign intelligence services and corrupt establishment career politicians. Our nation, culture, and society are in peril. We are currently engaged in an uncivil and unholy war. It's a war between starkly different political ideologies and visions of America's future fueled from within and outside our national boundaries by the Bolsheviks, Alinsky disciples, and revolutionaries of the Left. The radical Left with their domestic and international allies are demons of demagoguery and deception and intend on hijacking our presidency, democratic electoral process with the heart and soul of America, and our wealth and freedoms. The ideological battle lines between Right and Left, Republican and Democrat, are drawn-right versus wrong, light versus darkness, culture of life versus culture of death, individualism versus collectivism, jobs versus welfare, God and family first versus godless me too first, spirit of Christ versus spirit of the antichrist, American exceptionalism versus American mediocrity, rule of law versus lawlessness, less government versus more intrusive government. The stakes are high, the choices clear. Choose wisely. God bless America.

Book excerpt: In the seventy years that have passed since the tank first appeared, antitank combat has presented one of the greatest challenges in land warfare. Dramatic improvements in tank technology and doctrine over the years have precipitated equally innovative developments in the antitank field. One cycle in this ongoing arms race occurred during the early years of World War II when the U.S. Army sought desperately to find an antidote to the vaunted German blitzkrieg. This Leavenworth Paper analyzes the origins of the tank destroyer concept, evaluates the doctrine and equipment with which tank destroyer units fought, and assesses the effectiveness of the tank destroyer in battle.

Book excerpt: “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” John 10:10a NKJV satan is the god of this world (see 2 Corinthians 4:4 and 1 John 5:19), is the “father of lies” (see John 8:44), and his job description is to “steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” In order to achieve his aims, he most often lies to us and deceives us. “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.” 2 Corinthians 10:4 NKJV satan often disguises his forces to make them look like natural problems so you’ll fight them with natural weapons. But you cannot fight a spiritual foe with natural weapons but with spiritual weapons, i.e. speaking God’s word to the devil and his demons. “For satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.” 2 Corinthians 11:14b NKJV Unfortunately satan can disguise himself as an “angel of light,” so it is possible to be deceived by an innocent and apparently correct Christian teaching (see Matthew 24:4, 24:5; Mark 13:5, 13:6; and Luke 21:8). Often these inaccurate or incomplete teachings focus on God’s love and blessings (thus appealing to our flesh and so lead us astray (see Mark 13:22 and 1 Timothy 4:1) and do not mention His greatness, or our need to obey Him and have a reverential fear of Him. This book aims to help reveal satan’s lie and deception strategies and so empower Christians to live the Christian life that God intended. R. Douglas Wardrop’s other two books are A Young Person’s Guide to Christianity and Spiritual Disciplines for Today – Getting Closer to God.

We all relate to stress, sorrow, dysfunctional relationships and personal identity problems. There is "a light at the end of the tunnel" for every hungry heart. The author candidly shares her walk with God through divorce, single parenting, illness, a dysfunctional childhood, occult teachings, controlling church life, and much more. It doesn't stop there, for out of her "dark places and chains" comes the hand of Almighty God, bringing deliverance and freedom in life. The author tells how God faithfully demonstrates His tender love and mercy in the lives of anyone seeking Divine intervention. Personal miracles are shared, along with life application principles that transform even the most desperate of life's circumstances.
