It has been several years since my brother has died. There is healing there and acceptance, but still a grief and sadness still. God could assuredly heal the pain I am going through and has for the most part. I asked God to even remove some more of the grief too, but his response was that if he did that he would have to remove the memories. Memories bring back the grief, but also reinforce the joy of the life I had lived with. So, In that instance or example, I would not want this to be removed.
