Las cifras de mujeres muertas anualmente por este problema no dejan de ser sobrecogedoras. Es necesario ofrecer soluciones, vías de acción para estas personas con un padecimiento tan importante y unas condiciones de vida tan angustiosas, tan injustas y tan crueles. Esta obra ofrece un programa de actuación para ayudar a las víctimas de la violencia doméstica a identificar su problema, a aprender unas pautas de acción eficaz sea cual sea su situación actual, a superar las secuelas que pueda haberles producido el maltrato y, desde luego, a desarrollar, si es necesario, una nueva vida social.
