Book excerpt: Cass and Hylton explain how technological advances strengthen the case for intellectual property laws, and argue convincingly that IP laws help create a wealthier, more successful, more innovative society than alternative legal systems. Ignoring the social value of IP rights and making what others create “free” would be a costly mistake indeed.

Book excerpt: The Language of Creation is a commentary on the primeval stories from the book of Genesis. It is often difficult to recognize the spiritual wisdom contained in these narratives because the current scientific worldview is deeply rooted in materialism. Therefore, instead of looking at these stories through the lens of modern academic disciplines, such as sociology, psychology, or the physical sciences, this commentary attempts to interpret the Bible from its own cosmological perspective.By contemplating the ancient biblical model of the universe, The Language of Creation demonstrates why these stories are foundational to western science and civilization. It rediscovers the archaic cosmic patterns of heaven, earth, time, and space, and sees them repeated at different levels of reality. These fractal-like structures are first encountered in the narrative of creation and then in the stories of the Garden of Eden, Cain and Abel, and the flood. The same patterns are also revealed in the visions of Ezekiel, the book of Daniel, and the miracles of Moses. The final result of this contemplation is a vision of the cosmos centered on the role of human consciousness in creation.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: with a Postcript coauthored by Michael W. Goheen In print for two decades and translated into eight languages, Albert Wolters's classic formulation of an integrated Christian worldview has been revised and expanded to reach new readers beyond the generation that has already benefited from this clear, concise proposal for transcending the false dichotomy between sacred and secular. Wolters begins by defining the nature and scope of a worldview, distinguishing it from philosophy and theology. He then outlines a Reformed analysis of the three basic categories in human history -- creation, fall, and redemption -- arguing that while the fall reaches into every corner of the world, Christians are called to participate in Christ's redemption of all creation. This Twentieth Anniversary edition features a new concluding chapter, coauthored with Michael Goheen, that helpfully places the discussion of worldview in a broader narrative and missional context.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We are the Golden Elohim, the creative aspect of that which you call God. Remember, you are the aspect of God who is exploring different aspects of love from the third dimension. You could say we manifest the ideas from the mind of God. The human mind is expanding and therefore able to create more than ever before. Encodements bring your ideas, the ideas you gather from the mind of God, into form. You do not create the encodements of form. Those who work with encodements do. You, however, hold in your mind’s eye, the third eye, the template of what you wish to create. Then those who work with encodements develop the energetic structure of the template you create. This is cocreation. The energy you shape has no desire of its own. Its purpose is to follow the creator’s intention. You are such young creators. You are not aware of the power of your thought and intention. You are not aware how fragile the creation of form is. When you work to create nonphysical form, the focus of your intention is crucial for creation. If the form of your creation is unclear, you cannot focus your intention. This may result in being displeased with your creation. Be clear how you want your abundance to take form. Know that you are working with the laws of this planet as well as the laws of energy. When you digress from your intention by reviewing what you don’t have rather than what you want to create, the energy you use to create disperses, just as the wind comes along and disperses your pile of leaves. True abundance comes from the heart. You do not need things to have true abundance.

This book will teach you how to:- create your life- change your circumstances- manifest abundance- emit and absorb joy- develop harmonious bonds with family and friends- establish meaningful relationships with your significant others- emanate love - establish purposeWe all have this ability to create, you are doing it right now. Mostly you create what you don't want. Now you can create what you do want! This knowledge is in every one of us, it is part of who we are.You cannot know the contents of this book and fail to be an abundance machine.

"One Truth One Law" by Erin Werley is a spiritual exploration of the concept that every individual is an extension of a singular divine consciousness, referred to as "I Am" or God. The book delves into the idea that the physical universe originated from the thoughts of this consciousness and that every person has the inherent ability to create through their thoughts, whether they realize it or not. Book excerpt: The T&T Clark Handbook of the Doctrine of Creation provides an expansive range of resources introducing the doctrine of creation as understood in Christian traditions. It offers an examination of: how the Bible and various Christian traditions have imagined creation; how the doctrine of creation informs and is informed by various dogmatic commitments; and how the doctrine of creation relates to a range of human concerns and activities. The Handbook represents a celebration of, fascination with, bewilderment at, lament about, and hope for all that is, and serves as a scholarly, innovative, and constructive reference for those interested in attending to what Christian belief has to contribute to thinking about and living with the mysterious existence named 'creation'.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: God created man in his image. In this book, we study that image and come to understand why the first man, created in the image of God, could and did fall from holiness to the state of sin and spiritual death. We explore how the resulting depravity infected the entire human race and what God has done to provide the antidote and make possible the restoration of the primal holiness that characterized the original creation. Inherited depravity can be cured only by God creating a "new heart" to replace the fallen moral and spiritual condition of sin. God dealt patiently with the human race through the rites of the law of Moses, teaching us what sin is, what its consequences are, and what is its remedy. The animal sacrifices God required of the Israelites under the Old Testament illustrated that remedy, foreshadowing the atonement in Christ. The shedding of the blood of Christ as pictured by the animal sacrifices is the only means by which sin and spiritual death are conquered and the new heart realized. Gospel salvation is much more than just the forgiveness of sins; it is the restoration of the holiness God intended for human lives--the new heart. It is the blood of Christ that made atonement for sin, and it is the action of the Holy Spirit in the human heart that produces genuine sanctification and practical holiness. The baptism of the Holy Spirit as a dispensational baptism is explored. What happened on the Day of Pentecost, and what happened to those who experienced the subsequent receiving of the Holy Spirit events in the book of Acts? What did Jesus teach on the baptism of the Holy Spirit? What is entire sanctification? Are we yet carnal? And what is temptation? These are questions on which there are different viewpoints but yet have clear answers in the New Testament.

Book excerpt: THE CREATION SPIRIT; Expressing Your Divinity in Everyday Life is a story of the Holy Spirit told through the voice of Christo Sahbays, an itinerant metaphysician from northwest Arkansas who is gathering popularity as a mediator for a spirituality of living the Truth of our being. This initial entry in the author's new MY SPIRITUAL AWARENESS SERIES features metaphorical translations of parables and holy Scripture to enlighten, inspiring followers to heal themselves by first healing their perspectives on life. As a master metaphysician, Christo shakes the foundation upon which most have constructed their personal mythology of religious doctrine. He then leads them to a sense of Oneness that focuses their house of consciousness toward those inner whispers of Truth rather than on the illusions of outward authorities that often lead to a purposeless, unfulfilled life. Building on this first offering, other writings that continue the MY SPIRITUAL AWARENESS SERIES are A LABOR OF LOVE; Weaving Your Own Virgin Birth on the Loom of Life, and KEYS TO THE DOOR OF TRUTH; Metaphysical Musings of a Born-Yet-Again. Other books in process deal with such topics as the metaphysical meaning of Jesus and his disciples, the Sermon on the Mount, some of the various "newfound" Gospels, and those portions of the remaining three Gospels that do not replicate the content of the Gospel of John--all placed in a practical perspective.
