Después de determinar los recursos necesarios para la implementación de la propuesta de creación del laboratorio clínico de prevención de enfermedades de alta prevalencia en la clínica Veterinaria APAP y adquirir la infraestructura necesaria, se complementó el proceso con el diseño, creación, e implementación de una plataforma estratégica de funcionalidad del laboratorio, estructurando los protocolos internos de manejo y la restructuración organizacional en el mapa de procesos dentro de la clínica, con el fin de formalizar la prestación del servicio. Con la implementación del laboratorio clínico se busca suministrar un servicio completo a los usuarios de la clínica, a seguir la confiabilidad y oportunidad en la obtención de resultados clínicos, proporcionar eficiencia y eficacia en todos los procesos o intervenciones médicas que se realicen en el paciente cuando se requiera determinar su estado clínico. De tal forma se ha creado el trabajo como opción de grado llamado creación del laboratorio clínico en la Clínica Veterinaria APAP (Asociación Protectora De Animales Y Plantas De Pereira) elaborado por el estudiante David Gutiérrez Calvo, con la asesoría de la Doctora MARIA FERNANDA LONDOÑO. .
