This book was released on 2020-10-25 with total page 623 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: H.P. Blavatsky’s The Secret Doctrine is the foundational text for the dissemination of the esoteric tradition, as promulgated by the Masters of Wisdom for this new epoch. The Theosophical Society, the writings of Alice Bailey, Helena Roerich and other esotericists, are founded upon the basis of the advanced esoteric doctrines promulgated in that text. Here, for the first time, a proper exposition of the mode of the coding of the esoteric texts presented by the Masters is revealed. The object being to assist serious students of the esoteric doctrines to gain much deeper insights as to the nature of the hidden wisdom of the revelatory writings emanating from the Hierarchy of enlightened beings. This book consequently presupposes that the reader is familiar with the context of the writings of the above authors, and also my writings, because of the nature of the advanced esotericism that needs to be explicated. The focus of this analysis is upon the Stanzas of Dzyan (stanzas for meditation), the backbone of The Secret Doctrine. Those that take the time to properly study the texts will comprehend the vastness of the philosophy and awareness attained by enlightened beings, and so hopefully aspire to likewise gain enlightenment.

He was a journalist from Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. His boss Bill Klein assigned Gerard to write a sensational feature story about Trinity University. Gerard decided to write an objective, truthful story about Metaphysical knowledge. Murray Sheldon, another reporter from the same newspaper, wrote a sensational, untrue, feature story. Gerard Jensen fell in love with Corina Hilliard, a Metaphysical Professor at Trinity University. Corina encouraged Gerard to look within to awaken to spiritual realization. Knowledge about reincarnation, cause and effect, sacred centers (chakras) and the I Am Presence are explained. Metaphysics means wisdom beyond the physical plane. Astral and etheric planes exist. STARTLING FLASHBACKS in Part II, is a startling account about Celeste Waters, who had flashbacks about six, past embodiments. Celeste learned to evaluate, understand and forgive traumatic memories about sudden death, suffering, dangers and grief caused from losing loved ones. Celeste realized that reincarnation does exist.

Book Synopsis Extensive Air Showers by : M. V. S. Rao
Download or read book Extensive Air Showers written by M. V. S. Rao and published by World Scientific. This book was released on 1998 with total page 372 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Ultrahigh energy cosmic rays carry information about their sources and the intervening medium apart from providing a beam of particles for studying certain features of high energy interactions currently inaccessible at man-made accelerators. They can at present be studied only via the extensive air showers (EAS's) they generate while passing through the Earth's atmosphere, since their fluxes are too low for the experiments of limited capability flown in balloons and satellites. The EAS is generated by a series of interactions of the primary cosmic ray and its progeny with the atmospheric nuclei. The exponential nature of the atmosphere spreads the air showers laterally over several hundreds of meters, thus enabling ground-based arrays of relatively inexpensive detectors to record and study them. This book describes the EAS phenomenology, the detectors and techniques used, and the latest results on the energy spectrum and composition of the primaries of EAS's and the results on high energy interactions obtained from EAS studies. It also describes the new TeV and PeV gamma ray astronomy (which has been developing over the past decade) and the newly emerging neutrino astronomy, which are related to the origin of cosmic rays. This book serves as an introduction as well as a reference for researchers in the field.
Download or read book Pathways to Joy written by Dave DeLuca and published by New World Library. This book was released on 2010-09-07 with total page 314 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: At the 1893 Parliament of Religions in Chicago, Swami Vivekananda transformed Western thinking. He showed that, far from being an exotic novelty, Hinduism is an important, legitimate spiritual tradition with valuable lessons for the West. Pathways to Joy is a selection of 108 of his sacred teachings on Vedanta philosophy. In accessible and powerful prose, Vivekananda illuminates the four classical yoga paths — karma, bhakti, raja, and jnana — for the different natures of humankind. The messages focus on the oneness of existence; the divinity of the soul; the truth in all religions; and unifying with the Divine within. Invaluable and inspiring, the selections also explore karma, maya, rebirth, and other great revelations of Hinduism.

Book Synopsis Cosmic Ascension by : Joshua David Stone
Download or read book Cosmic Ascension written by Joshua David Stone and published by Light Technology Publishing. This book was released on 1998-02-01 with total page 286 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Almost all the books on the planet on the subject of ascension are written about planetary ascension. However, because of the extraordinary times in which we now live, in terms of Earth's history, there is a new opening and potentiality to also begin one's cosmic ascension process. This has never before been available. It must be understood, as Vywamus has said, that in completing our planetary ascension, we are no more than one-tenth of the way up a ten-inch ruler in terms of our cosmic ascension process. This includes most of the ascended masters. We on Earth who are working to complete our seven levels of initiation must remember that there are 352 levels of initiation to return to the godhead, or Father-Mother God, at the top of creation. Most of the Ascended Masters of the entire Spiritual Hierarchy are not beyond the 12th initiation. This is not a criticism, just a statement of fact. The question is, "What lies beyond the next nine-tenths of the ruler, and how do we achieve our cosmic ascension as well as our planetary ascension (which is no small feature in and of itself)?" Is it for the purpose that the author was guided to write his book.
Book Synopsis Understanding Death by : Angela Sumegi
Download or read book Understanding Death written by Angela Sumegi and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2024-11-04 with total page 341 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What is death? How can we respond to death? Why must we die? Where do we go from here? Do we go anywhere? Understanding Death offers a thorough introduction to the views and practices of various religions regarding death and life after death. Drawing on examples from Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist, and Shamanic traditions, this student-oriented textbook explores how different conceptions of the “self” or soul inform the way humans interpret life and assign meaning to the phenomenon of death. Incorporating contributions from members of each faith, Understanding Death provides readers with a comparative overview of how death is expressed and constructed in religious texts and canonical interpretations. Accessible chapters discuss how major religions address the nature of death itself while illustrating how history, philosophy, and ritual reflect what is important in understanding the meaning of death in that religion. Now in its second edition, Understanding Death is revised and updated throughout, featuring three entirely new chapters on Sikhism, Jainism, as well as changing attitudes and new technologies related to death and dying in the twenty-first century. Understanding Death: Ideas of Self and the Afterlife in Religions of the World, Second Edition, is an ideal textbook for undergraduate students and lecturers in Religious Studies programs, and an excellent resource for non-specialist readers interested in the subject.
