Book excerpt: La présente étude a pour objectif d'analyser les aspects instationnaires de l'interaction transsonique entre une onde de choc oscillante et une couche limite décollée en écoulement de canal. L'oscillation de l'onde de choc est forcée par une évolution périodique de la section d'un col aval, au moyen d'une came elliptique en rotation placée au voisinage de ce col, au milieu du canal. La came en rotation génère des ondes de pression qui vont remonter l'écoulement. La paroi inférieure du canal en forme de bosse va permettre un décollement de l'écoulement. L'évolution du bulbe de décollement pendant le cycle d'oscillation du choc a été quantifiée expérimentalement avec précision. Par les calculs, le cycle d'oscillation du choc est correctement reproduit mais l'extension de la région décollée est toujours sous-estimée. L'impact de techniques de contrôle sur la couche limite et sur l'oscillation forcée de l'onde de choc a été caractérisé. Le contrôle actif a permis de réduire l'oscillation.

Book excerpt: La présente étude a pour objectif l'exploration approfondie d'un écoulement transsonique, bidimensionnel et instationnaire résultant de l'oscillation d'une onde de choc quasi-normale dans un canal. Cette oscillation est forcée par une évolution périodique de la section d'un col aval, au moyen d'une came en rotation placée au voisinage de ce col, au milieu du canal. Le but recherché est d'obtenir une description précise du caractère instationnaire de l'écoulement afin de caractériser l'évolution de la couche limite et du choc spatialement et temporellement. Nous considérons des oscillations de choc dont l'amplitude atteint environ 10 fois l'épaisseur de la couche limite et dont les fréquences sont bien inférieures aux fréquences caractéristiques de la turbulence (nombre de Strouhal de l'ordre de 3x10-4). Pour atteindre cet objectif, nous avons utilisé trois approches : expérimentale, théorique et numérique. L'approche expérimentale fait appel à des méthodes optiques de visualisation et de mesure. La technique de visualisation repose sur l'utilisation d'une caméra à tambour (Strobodrum) couplée à un générateur d'éclairs. La méthode d'acquisition utilise un vélocimètre laser à deux composantes synchronisé sur un signal connu, avec un traitement des mesures par analyse conditionnelle. De nombreuses mesures de pressions stationnaire et instationnaire ont été effectuées. La théorie basée sur la propagation des ondes acoustiques permet d'avancer une explication au phénomène d'oscillation du choc. L'étude numérique s'appuie sur des simulations effectuées à l'aide d'un code Navier-Stokes instationnaire. Ce travail propose en plus un cas test bien documenté permettant la validation des outils numériques grâce aux mesures instationnaires du champ de l'écoulement. Il apporte aussi une contribution à l'interprétation du phénomène de tremblement des aubes de turbomachines ou des profils d'aile.
