Book excerpt: Les travaux présentés dans cette thèse concernent le problème d'identification des systèmes à retards et d'une certaine classe de systèmes hybrides appelés systèmes "impulsifs".Dans la première partie, un algorithme d'identification rapide a été proposé pour les systèmes à entrée retardée. Il est basé sur une méthode d'estimation distributionnelle non asymptotique initiée pour les systèmes sans retard. Une telle technique mène à des schémas de réalisation simples, impliquant des intégrateurs, des multiplicateurs et des fonctions continues par morceaux polynomiales ou exponentielles. Dans le but de généraliser cette approche pour les systèmes à retard, trois exemples d'applications ont été étudiées. La deuxième partie a été consacrée à l'identification des systèmes impulsifs. En se basant sur le formalisme des distributions, une procédure d'identification a été élaborée afin d'annihiler les termes singuliers des équations différentielles représentant ces systèmes. Par conséquent, une estimation en ligne des instants de commutations et des paramètres inconnus est prévue indépendamment des lois de commutations. Des simulations numériques d'un pendule simple soumis à des frottements secs illustrent notre méthodologie.

Book excerpt: Les systèmes à retards représentent une classe de systèmes de dimension infinie largement utilisée pour la modélisation et l'analyse des phénomènes de transport et de propagation de matière, d'énergie ou d'informations. Du point de vue mathématique, ils sont généralement modélisés par des équations différentielles fonctionnelles (systèmes de dimension infinie) ou encore par des modèles sur anneaux (approche algébrique). Les résultats d'identifiabilité mettent en évidence le lien étroit entre les propriétés d'identifiabilité et les diverses notions de controlabilité des systèmes à retards. Il s'agit notamment de la controlabilité faible dans le cas de systèmes présentant des retards, puis de la controlabilité spectrale et approximative dans le cas plus général de systèmes avec retards distribués. L'approche utilisée pour aboutir à ces résultats est basée sur la description des systèmes à retards au moyen d'équations de convolution de distributions à support compact. Cette approche, de plus, est constructive car elle permet également de généraliser aux systèmes à retards les notions d'entrée suffisamment riche rencontrées en identification. Les outils d'identification développés se basent sur une extension naturelle aux systèmes à retards d'une technique algébrique développée depuis peu au sein de l'équipe ALlEN de l'lN RIA-FUTURS. Des premiers résultats, en simulation mais également expérimentaux, ont pennis de mettre en évidence le fort potentiel de cette approche pour l'identification et la commande en ligne des systèmes à retards.

Nous faisons tout d'abord un état de l'art sur d'identification des modèles PWA. Nous proposons ensuite de nouvelles méthodes d'identification des modèles PWA basées sur des techniques innovantes de classification non supervisée combinées avec des techniques de régression pour grouper les données selon leurs sous-modèles respectifs. Puis nous procédons à l'estimation des régions de validité des sous-modèles. Nous proposons ensuite un algorithme récursif d'identification de modèles dynamiques affines par morceaux (PWA) et de modèles dynamiques non linéaires par morceaux dont les paramètres des sous-modèles et des régions peuvent varier dans le temps. Une technique de régression par des LS-SVM récursifs permettant l'adaptation des fonctions de régression est ainsi proposée. L'adaptation des paramètres des régions de validité est assurée par un nouvel algorithme de classification incrémentale et décrémentale multi-classe à vecteurs de support. La dernière partie de ce travail est consacrée à la validation de nos méthodes sur des exemples réels. Nous appliquons nos méthodes à l'identification d'un système hydraulique à surface libre puis à la modélisation d'une machine de montage de composants électroniques sur circuit imprimé. Nous montrons aussi comment la segmentation temporelle de vidéos en différentes scènes peut être effectuée en se basant sur une estimation de sous-modèles linéaires locaux.
