Ces estimations sont également utilisables dans le calcul du bilan thermique des habitations dont le chauffage est assuré par l’une des énergies traditionnelles. Cette étude comprend deux parties. Dans la première partie, après avoir répertorié les données disponibles, sont exposées les méthodes d'estimation : des rayonnements Global et Diffus reçus par le plan horizontal. Du rayonnement Direct (incidence normale) Des rayonnements Global et Diffus reçus par des plans diversement orientés et inclinés. Nota : Alors que les estimations des rayonnements global et diffus sont \faites pour l'ensemble du territoire celle du rayonnement Direct est uniquement proposée pour la zone méditerranéenne qui est la seule (excepté peut être un secteur entourant La Rochelle) à présenter en France un potentiel réel pour les applications de la concentration du rayonnement solaire. Dans la deuxième partie, un atlas des ressources énergétiques solaires en France est ébauché en vue des applications de la concentration du rayonnement solaire d'une part et des insolateurs plans diversement orientés et inclinés d'autre part.
