Book excerpt: Un outil numérique est développé pour simuler une hiérarchie de cas d'épreuve représentatifs des phénomènes physiques complexes qui se produisent dans les prises d'air supersoniques : interaction choc / couche limite de plaque plane, écoulement stationnaire dans une prise d'air générique avec système de contrôle par paroi perforée, écoulement instationnaire dans une prise d'air générique avec contre-pression aval fluctuante. Les écoulements transsoniques turbulents étudiés sont décrits à l'aide des équations de Navier-Stokes moyennées (RNAS) fermées par un modèle de turbulence élaboré existant, modèle aux tensions de Reynolds sans distance à la paroi ; un classique modèle de turbulence est également mis en oeuvre pour évaluer l'apport du modèle RSM. Les équations RANS sont discrétisées à l'aide d'un schéma compact original, dit schéma basé sur le résidu ; des schémas décentrés classiques (Van Leer et AUSM+) sont également utilisés à titre de comparaison. La simulation d'un dispositif de contrôle par paroi perforée est réalisée en modélisant le dispositif à l'aide de différentes "lois" proposées dans la littérature (Darcy, Poll, Böhning-Doerffer), qui peuvent ainsi être comparées les unes aux autres. L'influence des paramètres numériques propres à chaque configuration est soigneusement étudiée ; des comparaisons calcul / expérience sont systématiquement effectuées, ainsi que des comparaisons entre les différents schémas et modèles mis en oeuvre. La capacité de l'association schéma basé sur le résidu / modèle RSL à simuler efficacement des écoulements dans les prises d'air supersoniques est ainsi démontrée.

The Technical Evaluation Report and and Addendum are included at the beginning of the Proceedings. Questions and answers of the discussions follow each paper. The last AGARD review on the subject took place in a Specialists' Meeting in 1975, followed by a Working Group Report in 1979 and Lecture Series in 1982. The purpose of the Symposium was a review of the present state-of-the-art and of the last improvements. Although the safety standards in aviation are already very high, there is still room for improvements. They are listed in the Conclusions and Recommendations of the Technical Evaluation Report and in the Addendum.
