Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This fascinating exploration of pre-birth consciousness—with over 200 real-life case studies—reveals we do make decisions about the families and circumstances into which we’re born. An affirming and inspirational read for parents and grandparents, regression therapists and spiritual counselors, and anyone interested in near-death experiences. Where was your soul before you were born? If your soul is immortal, did it have a “life” prior to birth? Did you choose your life and parents? Is reincarnation real? Elizabeth and Neil Carman, the authors of Cosmic Cradle, address these questions through interviews with adults and children who report pre-birth experiences (PBEs) not based on regression, hypnosis, or drugs. Instead, interviewees recall their pre-birth existence completely sober and awake. In contrast to near-death experiences (NDEs), which have been well documented to show us what the soul experiences after death, PBEs throw light upon our lives before birth. People with NDEs sense that they “return home” when their spirits cross to the other side. What is the nature of this place we “return” to? PBEs suggest that we come from the same place we return to: we come from the Light and return to the Light. The same eternal "you" progresses through life before life, human life, and life after death. This new edition of Cosmic Cradle explores your soul’s journey into your mother’s womb—where your soul comes from, the origin and purpose of your life, and the process by which you entered an earthly body. In pre-birth communications, parents meet a soul seeking to cross over from the heavenly realm to human birth. Persons with pre-birth memories recall existence in a luminous world before birth, in which they preview the upcoming life with a Divine Planner, and recall how they journeyed to their mothers’ wombs.
Book Synopsis Living between Science and Belief by : Charles Villa-Vicencio
Download or read book Living between Science and Belief written by Charles Villa-Vicencio and published by African Sun Media. This book was released on 2021-03-02 with total page 170 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Most thoughtful people live in an interregnum between science and religion. Traditional religious answers concerning the beginning, purpose, and end of life are questioned by the natural sciences, with neuroscience conceivably constituting the last frontier where skeptics and believers explore common ground. The question concerns the nature of reflective and creative moments in life. Can these be reduced to the intersect between the nerve cells and molecules of the physical brain? Does this account for the human sense of mystery, or even spirituality? Is there a nexus between the physical and unknown dimensions of existence? The mutation in the history of theism suggest that progressive theology in the West may be set for a further change.
Book Synopsis What Self-Donation Is by : Sylvester L. Steffen
Download or read book What Self-Donation Is written by Sylvester L. Steffen and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2010-07 with total page 118 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: About "Uninformed Conscience" John F. Kavanaugh, S.J. says "If a nation or church forms its people to accept assertions blindly, without supporting evidence, it will form a community not of moral agents but of menaces. They may be sincere, but they will be sincere menaces." [AMERICA, June 21-28, 2010, pg 9] Conscience speaks to the meaning of Eucharist. If we buy in to the Eucharistic Theology of the Cosmic Christ, we must be open to the vital coinage of death. The multiplication of many from one is the miracle of divine/ human hypostasis, the miracle of the largesse of symbiotic life. The amplification of life speaks to the truth that less is more, that unless the seed dies there is no flourishing and amplification of life. Individuality resources multiplicity even as multiplicity resources individuality; spirituality is resurrection-consciousness, the energy of prevision and provision that does not die but transforms and transfers into multiplicity. Resurrection is the consciousness of self-reflective vitality. About Eucharist, right as grain says it best. It is in dying that we live; it is in giving that we receive; that we become one with Other-the personal oneness of Eucharist in the Cosmic Christ. Wisdom is Eucharistic consciousness, the intentional embrace of transformation. In mindfulness we become the "good seed" that greens the greater abundance of life. The greening of life from the dying seed informs the adage "better to give than receive." And so must be our individual relationship with each other and nature. What Self Donation Is is about living the fulfilled, abundant life of informed conscience, not by blind submission to cultural death as imposed by worldview blindness of staticism and centrism. Faith in absolutism is blind; openness to evolution is visionary. Absolutism misinforms conscience and cultures premature death; transformation informs and matures open life.
