Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “EAGLE CLAWS FOR FREEDOM'S CAUSE” is a sometimes humorous sometimes serious look at America. Her past her present & her future. DeAnna Lorraine who ran for Congress in San Francisco in 2020 is the person who most of the poems in this book are about. A successful author in her own right she has written two books (Making Love Great Again & more recently Taking Back America). She has been a champion for conservative thought. Particularly raising awareness against the evils of modern day Feminism. Although her run did not end with victory at the ballot box. In the process her’s became a leading voice in the upswell of conservatism which began to reassert itself again in America in the year 2016. With its influence continuing to grow long into the future. DeAnna has had the honor of being retweeted on six separate occasions by the President of the United States. You can find her on Parler these days. Her unorthodox (energetic) campaign & engaging personality became the inspiration for most of the poems in this book. She is currently on hiatus from hosting her own news show on Infowars. Keeping herself active organizing & attending rallies across the United States. As of this writing I have not yet had the distinct pleasure of meeting her personally but Lord willing I very much look forward to doing so in the near future. The rest of the book contains poems drawing parallels in America from 1776 to the present. With the events beginning in 2016 the unexpected (by many) NOT ME election of President Donald Trump. This cataclysmic event signifying the restoration of America’s rightful place as the world’s leading beacon of hope for the freedom of man on this planet called earth.

Book excerpt: Helen Steward argues that determinism is incompatible with agency itself--not only the special human variety of agency, but also powers which can be accorded to animal agents. She offers a distinctive, non-dualistic version of libertarianism, rooted in a conception of what biological forms of organisation might make possible in the way of freedom.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From Oprah Winfrey to Angelina Jolie, George Clooney to Leonardo DiCaprio, Americans have come to expect that Hollywood celebrities will be outspoken advocates for social and political causes. However, that wasn’t always the case. As Emilie Raymond shows, during the civil rights movement the Stars for Freedom - a handful of celebrities both black and white - risked their careers by crusading for racial equality, and forged the role of celebrity in American political culture. Focusing on the “Leading Six” trailblazers - Harry Belafonte, Ossie Davis, Ruby Dee, Sammy Davis, Jr., Dick Gregory, and Sidney Poitier - Raymond reveals how they not only advanced the civil rights movement in front of the cameras, but also worked tirelessly behind the scenes, raising money for Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legal defense, leading membership drives for the NAACP, and personally engaging with workaday activists to boost morale. Through meticulous research, engaging writing, and new interviews with key players, Raymond traces the careers of the Leading Six against the backdrop of the movement. Perhaps most revealing is the new light she sheds on Sammy Davis, Jr., exploring how his controversial public image allowed him to raise more money for the movement than any other celebrity. The result is an entertaining and informative book that will appeal to film buffs and civil rights historians alike, as well as to anyone interested in the rise of celebrity power in American society. Book excerpt: The truths about Iran; quite different truths from versions put forward by Washington, Tehran, and the media. Iran thundered onto the world stage in 1979 with an Islamic revolution that shook the world. Today that revolution has gone astray, a popular democracy movement boldly challenges authority, and young Iranians are more interested in moving to America than in chanting "Death to America." Afshin Molavi, born in Iran and fluent in Persian, traveled widely across his homeland, exploring the legacy of the Iranian revolution and probing the soul of Iran, a land with nearly three millennia of often-glorious history. Like a master Persian carpet maker, Molavi weaves together threads of rich historical insight, political analysis, cultural observation, and the daily realities of life in the Islamic republic to produce a colorful, intricate, and mesmerizing narrative. Originally published in hardcover under the title Persian Pilgrimages, this paperback edition is revised, with a new introduction and epilogue.

Book excerpt: With more than 400 endnotes, and endorsements from a broad number of national conservative leaders, Choose Freedom! provides a reliable guidebook for young people, as well as a refresher for all conservatives. Written expressly for high school and college students, Choose Freedom! is an antidote to the woke indoctrination that is pervasive in America's education system—from grade school to grad school. This "rescue book" is the ideal book for parents and grandparents to give to their children. It not only explains why there is a bright line from the thinking of America's Founders to today's conservative movement, but also exposes the rotten, anti-freedom lineage of today's progressive/liberal movement. Choose Freedom! reminds readers of the challenges facing the nation, the weaknesses of the left, and warns of the panic and fear of those on the left who correctly surmise that their message only succeeds when the American people hear only their side of the story. It is also a book of optimism. Choose Freedom! encourages young men and women to engage in the conservative movement, to grow in understanding of its history and its values, and to press forward. Choose Freedom! tells young Americans how to persuade others to join the conservative cause, how to spread the message of conservatism on their college campus, and why they should be optimistic that the current threat from the left will be repelled in this generation. Using understandable language, author Bruce Eberle explains the core reason that conservatives and America's Founders stand in total opposition to every conclusion of the progressive movement, from its founding in the 1890s until today. With more than 400 endnotes, and endorsements from a broad number of national conservative leaders, Choose Freedom! provides a reliable guidebook for young people, as well as a refresher for all conservatives.
