More at LargePrintLiberty.com There's not a single aspect of your life that's not affected, either directly or indirectly, by politics. So, the purpose of this book is to provide you with a clear understanding of modern politics and the proper response to it—complete liberty. My first book on the general subject, The Psychology of Liberty, was a wide-ranging philosophical treatise and was considerably longer than this one. In contrast, you'll find that Complete Liberty has a non-scholarly, conversational style. It's designed for that special person in your life you want to persuade, which includes yourself. This person, for some good reason or another, isn't interested in perusing long volumes on the fine details of libertarianism or vast tomes about the workings of free market economics. While those types of books certainly have their merits, here I aim to cut to the chase. We'll discover what's so special about the liberty that we humans have been missing all these years. “All these years” basically means since the time we began uttering words alongside our unfortunate Neanderthal cousins. Indeed, we've never experienced complete liberty as a species. Rather, we've continually experienced some form of oppression by groups of individuals who are interested in running our lives, making it seem as if no one has the right to live for one's own sake. In modern times, these groups of people take the form of the State.(From the Preface.)

Book excerpt: Two young men from very different backgrounds. Christian is the son of Danish ex-pats; Marcus works as a house boy for a Swedish family, hoping they will eventually take him back to Europe with them. Their friendship defines a divided continent. When they decide to go into business together--a teenage dream of playing at discos--they unwittingly set a collision course. But will it be love or money that tears the two apart? Spanning a decade from the dawn of the 1980s, the story of Marcus and Christian's dissolving friendship plays out amid a vast cast of characters, all fighting to make their way in a country defined by corruption. As the Tanzanian authorities and European aid agencies compete to line their own pockets, the rise of 'the disease' threatens to lay waste to an already stricken continent.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: After a long winter, the Coalition leaders have gathered in Denver to complete their invasion of the United States and establish a new society. However, the Coalition leaders are unaware that the Elders of Israel are fully prepared to defend their lands and liberty. As the snow melts, these righteous soldiers begin their journey to Denver to battle the Coalition forces. The fate of the nation hangs in the balance. Meanwhile, thousands of citizens have fled the West Coast and are making their way inland. Members of the Foster and Shaw families help these people find hope by guiding them to Places of Refuge that will someday become Cities of Light. As the Times of Turmoil come to a close, hearts are softened and the veil is thin as the Saints prepare to fully establish Zion. Reclaiming Liberty, the fourth and concluding volume in the Times of Turmoil series, gives readers an exciting close-up look at the prophesied events that must occur before the Savior's Second Coming. Book excerpt: First published in 1975, Liberty’s is the biography of a shop and its various owners in London. Responding to the social pressures, class patterns, and governmental policies, the developments in the shop mimic the social changes taking place in London. It is affected by war and depressions, by trade booms and enemy bombs, by changes in fashions and taste. Liberty’s not only reflected these changes but also contributed to the artistic movements and the development of fashionable taste. This book will be of interest to students of history, fashion and sociology.
