J'ai vécu les difficultés d'apprentissage d'un public adulte qui souffrait de ne pouvoir bien lire le français. L'approche adoptée se veut donc progressive et « sécurisante », notamment par l'évocation de mots du quotidien. Nous insistons d'abord sur la reconnaissance des syllabes simples (avec A, E, I, U) puis complexes (ON, OU, AN/EN, AIN/EIN/UN...). Ensuite, des exercices de recopiage permettent à l'apprenant de s'habituer au tracé et à l'écriture. Vous trouverez les empreintes grises des mots : l'apprenant pourra recopier par-dessus. Cela l'aidera à prendre confiance et à se familiariser avec certaines lettres difficiles (le h et le k, le f, le d et le b...) Ensuite viennent des exercices de reconnaissance de mots et de phrases. Il s'agira d'effectuer le bon choix parmi des propositions et, parfois, de compléter des espaces vides. Puis, des exercices de compréhension permettent à l'apprenant de s'entraîner sur des applications concrètes de ce qu'il aura appris (notamment avec l'étude des verbes ÊTRE, AVOIR, AIMER). Parfois, il faudra décrypter des informations (affiche de bibliothèque, panneau routier, emploi du temps, plan...) Enfin, des exercices pratiques aideront à rédiger des phrases complètes (pluriel, masculin et féminin, phrases positives et négatives, présent progressif, pronoms interrogatifs, portrait de personnages, mots croisés...). Les exercices sont variés et s'avèrent efficaces (l'ouvrage est utilisé durant l'année scolaire 2019-2020 avec un public adulte, mais aussi avec des enfants niveau CP à CE2). ***************************************************************************** Ce livre est idéal pour les personnes ne maîtrisant pas encore les bases de lecture et d'écriture du français.
