Millennial college students also appear to have preconceived notions about the experiences they will encounter during their college tenure. This phenomenological qualitative research study examined the collegiate expectations and experiences of three millennial generation college students. The study attempted to address the following research question: What does it mean to millennial generation college students when they compare their actual collegiate learning experiences with what they anticipated? The common experiences of the participants were highlighted.
