Types of work covered include plumbing, steamfitting, welding, plastering, bricklaying, masonry, tile laying, carpentry, pipefitting, electrical work, and transportation or hoisting of construction materials. Provincial results are tabulated with regard to such matters as term of agreement, security provisions, hiring & grievance procedures, work hours, overtime rates, shift provisions, holidays & vacations, fringe benefits, and base rate increase. A written account of regional highlights is also included. Names of unions & employers contributing to the survey are appended.
