Puis en 2001, le Camino portugués (Lisbonne-Tomar-Porto-Saint-Jacques). Les deux années suivantes, c'est à la Via de la plata (Séville-Salamanque-Saint-Jacques) qu'il attache ses pas. En 2004, il marche sur le Camino de levante. Avec le Camino primitivo, en 2005, premier chemin historique de Saint-Jacques, il a achevé de parcourir les sept itinéraires principaux empruntés par les pèlerins. Marcher c'est avancer, sentir, observer, comprendre, prévoir, agir. C'est assumer les conséquences de ses décisions, pour le meilleur et le pire. Certes, ce n'est pas facile tous les jours : défier les difficultés physiques et morales ; peut-être ou surtout, être confronté à soi-même, devoir se supporter.
