In good Catholic fashion, the work is heavy on the descriptions, showing who and how and where they died, with attention paid to each and every sin, in graphic detail... with loads of illustrations.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: 2. SAHARA ADVENTURE SERIES - FOOTSTEPS TO DEATH “Footsteps to Death”, is the sequel to “Witch of the Sahara” by Meiring Fouche’s thrilling Sahara adventure series. Set in the scorching Sahara desert, the story follows Legionnaire Teuns Stegmann whose past encounter with the beautiful but deadly El Karima has left him entangled in her web once more. Can Teuns resist El Karima’s intoxicating charm or will he succumb to the passions that bind them? Six months after betraying El Karima’s love and destroying her Dulac nation, Teuns finds himself drawn back into her clutches when two mysterious riders are ambushed near the desert outpost of Dini Salam. Among their possessions is discovered a locket belonging to none other than El Karima herself, confirming the white princess of the Dulacs is behind the abduction. In exchange for the riders, El Karima demands Teuns be handed over to face punishment for his treachery. But one of the captives is revealed to be Madame Le Clerq, wife of the garrison commander Colonel Le Clerq. Now torn between sacrificing Teuns or his own wife, Le Clerq faces an impossible choice. Against orders, Teuns takes matters into his own hands and escapes into the desert accompanied by El Karima’s envoy, the Arab Kadar Hoessein. Enduring injury and the unrelenting elements, they arrive at El Karima’s encampment. While she still harbors feelings for her betrayer, will her desire for vengeance prevail? Meanwhile, back in Dini Salam, the master escape artist of the Legion, Captain D’Arlan, hatches a daring plan to rescue the hostages and defend the fort against El Karima’s impending attack. But with time running out and lives on the line, has El Karima’s web become inescapable? In this gripping tale of war, betrayal, and forbidden romance, Fouche delivers nonstop adventure and drama. When Teuns refuses to join her tribe and train her men, the stakes climb ever higher as Teuns finds himself in a brutal hand-to-hand duel to the death against Atroek, El Karima’s formidable henchman. Their contest will determine not only Teuns’ fate but that of Madame Le Clerq as well. Karima’s treachery knows no bounds. Consumed by bitterness and the desire for revenge, El Karima condemns Teuns, Madame Le Clerq, and El Saoed to a horrific public execution in Dini Salam. Her promises to return Madame Le Clerq unharmed were but empty words, concealing her true intent. Now along with Teuns and El Saoed, Madame Le Clerq faces a gruesome end bound between wild stallions who will tear them limb from limb. In this racing page-turner, Fouche maintains breathless suspense as the condemned three stand poised on the brink of death. Can the ingenious Captain D’Arlan come up with a daring plan to save Teuns, Madame Le Clerq, and the entire Dini Salam garrison from utter destruction at the hands of the vengeful El Karima? What shocking choice must Colonel Le Clerq make to try and save his beloved wife from a gruesome fate? As El Karima raises her whip, will salvation arrive in time or has she finally outmatched D’Arlan and checkmated Teuns? Brimming with rivalry and passion, and dramatic twists and turns, “Footsteps to Death” captivates from desert ambush to palace showdown. Fouche transports the reader with vibrant details directly into the milieu of the 1930s Sahara. It is a land full of danger and desires in this sweeping tale of warfare, sacrifice, and star-crossed romance set against the perilous backdrop of the unforgiving Sahara. Full of memorable characters, a rich historical atmosphere, and heart-pounding action, “Footsteps to Death” is a thrilling addition to The Sahara Adventure series. This ebook will have adventure lovers and romance readers alike racing through the pages to learn the fates of Teuns, El Karima, and the embattled Legionnaires of Dini Salam.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I m born from Dinka tribes where Polygamy is predominantly pride of cultural values in Southern Sudan, Eastern Africa. My mother is the last of the eleven wives of my father and Im the last-born of the fifty siblings. I am not exactly sure of my birth date, because of no written records from my parents. However, based on the date that was given to me by the United Nation, I was born in 1984 and grew up in a traditional cattle- herding from Pakeer, Ciir in Jongeli State. In the late 1980s, I was only four years old child amongst the fifty siblings living an incredible life of illiteracy. The nomadic cattle life valves a lot more than education. So, education was not something I ever dream of. My peers and I played different games that dont exist in the western countries when we were at our sweet village where there was no electricity or clean waters. Those games such as Gugura, molding cows from clay and the Dinka games of kids playing marrying your wife and built toggles and slept in it while looking after calves was the best game we enjoyed the most as kids. We were very much happy like the rest of the kids before the Sudanese government troops began bombarded our village from the sky with helicopters, and Russians made airstrikes-antinovels in Arabic. In 1987 when Civil war reaches its climax and Sudanese government keeps sending troops South and burned down our villages to ashes and obliterated the entire villages; I fled into the bush with my brothers and cousins when we were looking after cattle to escape the bullets and not to be captured and made slaves. The chaos and violence that happened forced me to fled into the bush when bullets were whizzing in the air and burning smoke at nearby village rise up high into the sky. This led to uprooting and drifting through horrendous lives I never imagined. My first nights ever in the bush were horrible, which led to unknown journey of which none of my great grand parents or parents ever, had been before. We then became orphaned and began to walked thousands miles on foot to Ethiopia, guided by army rebels known as Sudan Peoples Liberation Army (SPLA) not to be killed or kidnapped by Murle militiamen on the way. On our way, I witnessed the deaths of cousins, friends and colleagues. Besides, I witness the born and sculpture of humans remains on the way that I had never seen before. During the journey, I starved to death and got thirsty to the point were I drank my own urines to quenched my thirsty for the survival. Through my entire time, I had lived in refugees camps for fourteen years before coming to America. I passed through hunger, violence, and fatigues and became malnourish child living on one cup of maize and one cup of beans of which to last for six days. The violence and suffering I went through had left very many people dead from Sudan to Ethiopian and then Sudan to Kenya, but not sure of what kept me a live. I am very happy that with God grace, I am who I am today In April 3, 2001, I came to Rochester, New York and later joined by my close friend Peter Agok. I had lived in Rochester for the past ten years. On my arrival to the United States, I had often faced with cultural shocks and shaken by F and B words, an Americans favor expressions while adapting to Americans life, both at work and school. I had been chasing Americans dreams and the dreams are too far yet to be reach. During the course of stays at U.S.A, I went to high school for a year before enrolled at Community College to improved my English. After two years at Community College, I transferred to University of Rochester and graduated in May, 2oo7, with major in Biology and minor in Chemistry. I work at Xerox, Webster, New York and looking forward to go back to school and pursuit field in medicine specially Pharmacy to return back to Sudan to alleviate the suffering my people are experiencing.

Book excerpt: Learn how: ?To analyze the system that has shaped your problem. ?To see sorrow, grief and mourning correctly. ?To pass on an inheritance to your children in dealing with grief issues. ?Acquire the keys to restore completeness in an environment of safety. ?To align your borders with pleasant stones. ?Your seed can possess the gates of your enemies. ?To dissolve the "dirty birds" of grief. ?To call an exceeding great army together. ?To change your atmosphere. ?To defeat supernatural sorrow and grief in your life. ?God measures. ?To take care of your spiritual bullies. ?And who is King over all the children of pride. ?Sorrow carves on you. ?Sorrow leads you to Grief. ?Grief leads you to Mourning. ?Sorrow, grief and mourning are the backbone of the cycle of shame. ?And what promises are yours concerning sorrow, grief and mourning. ?Who is leviathan? Gregg and Karren Gulledge entered into the ministry in 1967 and after a series of situations they left the ministry with a bitterly disillusioned view about the "church." After years of wandering about they were reunited with their lost love, Jesus. Now the journey of love continues as the Lord has restored them and uses them to testify of what the Word can do for God's people. Gregg and Karren are called repairers of breaches and restorers of paths to dwell in for the days ahead through their gifted ministry that breaks barrenness and restores fruitfulness to the people of God. Gregg and Karren have been used by the Lord to turn sorrow, grief and mourning into joy and gladness by changing the atmosphere through the revelation on how to break the cycle of being dry, disappointed, confused and ashamed.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Although researchers can profitably investigate heme, chlorophyll, and related tetrapyrroles in a wide range of academic and medical research programs, the handling and manipulation of these delicate compounds requires considerable skill and cross-boundary knowledge. In Heme, Chlorophyll, and Bilins: Methods and Protocols, an interdisciplinary panel of hands-on investigators overcomes these limitations by describing in detail how to work successfully with chlorophyll, heme, and bilins in biological, medical, chemical, and biochemical research. Each method is presented by a researcher who actually uses it on a daily basis and includes step-by-step instructions and pertinent tricks-of-the-trade that often make the difference between laboratory success and failure. Topics range from methods for the analysis of tetrapyrroles, heme, and hemoproteins, to the biosynthesis and the analysis of chlorophyll and bilins. Timely and highly practical, Heme, Chlorophyll, and Bilins: Methods and Protocols is a gold-standard collection of readily reproducible techniques suitable for a wide range of researchers, whether it be a clinician studying photodynamic therapy, an ecologist studying the chlorophyll composition of leaves in a tropical forest, or a cell biologist investigating the function of specific hemoproteins.
