It has been the object of the writer to use those records in their original language wherever possible, believing they contain the true facts to better advantage than any modern modification in language can do. Hoping that this effort may stimulate some minds with a desire to learn more of the history of the past, a knowledge of who their ancestors were, and from whence they came, is the desire of the writer.
