In dieser Arbeit geht es nicht nur um die Problemlage der Gesellschaft und mögliche Ursachen der Benachteiligung, sondern auch um die Konsequenzen für die Schulpraxis. Auf Basis aktueller wissenschaftlicher Erkenntnisse um die Einflussfaktoren auf den Erfolg der Ausbildungsplatzsuche von Jugendlichen mit Migrationshintergrund sollen Rückschlüsse für erfolgreiche Unterstützungsangebote in der Realschule plus gezogen werden. Gleichzeitig stellt die Bildung der SchülerInnen mit Migrationshintergrund Anforderungen an die gesamte Schulzeit und lässt sich nicht auf die Realschule plus eingrenzen. Anhand einer qualitativen Auswertung einer Quotenstichprobe mittels eines Umfragebogens mit offenen Fragen wird skizziert, wie die Berufsorientierungsphase einiger Personen mit Migrationshintergrund abgelaufen ist. Es geht um einen realistischen und praxisnahen Blick auf einige Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund, die in der Berufswelt angekommen sind. Auf theoretischer Ebene soll die vorliegende studentische Abschlussarbeit aufzeigen, welche Faktoren auf den erfolgreichen Übergang von Schule zum Ausbildungsverhältnis einwirkten und wie sich dieser Übergang mit Blick auf die Lebenslage gestaltet. Aus der praktischen Perspektive von Schulen auf Basis der aktuellen Forschung sollen einige sinnvolle Unterstützungsangebote sowie außerschulischen Angebote dargestellt werden. Dabei werden didaktische Konzepte der Realschule plus auch im Kontext der Lernausgangsvoraussetzungen der SchülerInnen mit Migrationshintergrund kurz geschildert und reflektiert. Die Benachteiligung jugendlicher MigrantInnen auf dem Ausbildungsmarkt ist unbestreitbar, da signifikant weniger Jugendliche mit Migrationshintergrund eine Ausbildungsstelle erhalten als die Jugendlichen ohne Migrationsgeschichte. Der BiBB-Report 2011 belegt, dass im Jahr 2010 zu Ende der Nachvermittlungsphase 42 Prozent aller BewerberInnen ohne Migrationshintergrund einen betrieblichen Ausbildungsplatz erlangt hatten, während es mit Migrationshintergrund lediglich 28 Prozent waren.

Armuts- und Reichtumsbericht zeigt: „Die Teilhabechancen der ausländischen Bevölkerung sind gegenwärtig noch nicht ausreichend. Ihre ökonomische und soziale Situation unterscheidet sich nach wie vor deutlich von der Situation der Gesamtbevölkerung.“ (Bundesministerium für Arbeit und Soziales 2005: XLVI). Migranten in Deutschland sind häufiger von Arbeitslosigkeit, Sozialhilfe und niedrigeren Einkommen betroffen als die deutsche Bevölkerung. Diese Entwicklung ist der Öffentlichkeit zwar bekannt, doch worin mag die fehlende Integration der Migranten auf dem Arbeitsmarkt begründet sein, ungeachtet dessen, dass ein Großteil von ihnen in Deutschland geboren, mit der hiesigen Sprache aufgewachsen und hier zu Schule gegangen ist? Der erste Teil dieser Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der aktuellen Situation von Migranten auf dem deutschen Arbeitsmarkt. Anhand der Indikatoren Arbeitslosen- und Sozialhilfequote und ihrer spezifischen Beschäftigungssituation wird dargestellt, wie sehr sich die Teilhabechancen der ausländischen Bürger von der deutschen Bevölkerung unterscheidet. Die Frage, wovon die Integration der Migranten auf dem deutschen Arbeitsmarkt abhängt, steht im zweiten Teil dieser Arbeit im Fokus. Hierbei spielen die Schulbildung und im Anschluss daran die betriebliche Ausbildung eine entscheidende Rolle, da Jugendliche hier Qualifikationen erwerben, die ihnen den Eintritt in den Arbeitsmarkt ermöglichen. Der Vergleich zwischen deutschen und türkischen Jugendlichen steht im Vordergrund. Türkische Migranten bilden die größte Einwanderungsgruppe in Deutschland und weisen in vielen Bereichen, wie beispielsweise der ökonomischen Situation der Familie und der Bildung, die größten Differenzen zu deutschen Jugendlichen auf. Im dritten Teil wird die Studie von van Tubergen et al. (2004) vorgestellt, die sich mit der ökonomischen Integration von Migranten aus verschiedenen Herkunftsländern in einer Reihe von Zielländern beschäftigt. Diese breit angelegte Studie ist die erste ihrer Art, die einige interessante Aspekte zu der ökonomischen Integration von Einwanderern mit Hilfe von Kompositionsund Kontexteffekten erkennen kann. Welche Faktoren fördern die Integration von Immigranten, welche Faktoren wirken eher hinderlich? Diese Frage soll im Fazit noch einmal speziell für die türkischen Immigranten in Deutschland beantwortet werden.

The comparative perspective was limited to the US Federal sentencing guidelines.
