La connaissance élémentaire de la structure et des propriétés de ces composés chimiques types ainsi que celle des règles énergétiques qui conditionnent les réactions entre les molécules sont un préalable indispensable à la compréhension du fonctionnement de la cellule, c’est-à-dire à la biologie cellulaire.
