Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is a collection of poems written from 1978 to the present. Some of the poems are humorous; some reflect the author s faith, and some are sentimental, which he hopes will cause you to remember the special times in your life. Others touch the heart; hopefully in a deep and profound way. Most of the poems are written in a down-to-earth manner that one can understand, yet the words convey the feelings of the author. That is why it is called: Poems from the Heart. Ken has also placed photos with some of his favorite poems. This is the author s seventh book, eight if you count an earlier version of one he has just finished. It was called, In Search of the Golden Sparrow, which was published in 2003. A few of the poems in Poems from the Heart have been published in some of his other works. Some of his other books published in 2011 are: Life on Pigeon Creek, In Search of a Golden Sparrow, Invasion of the Dregs, Barnestorming the Outdoors, and A Children s Story Collection. One other book, he has published under his pen name, which is a guarded secret. "

He lives in rural America during the later years of the Great Depression and must struggle on crutches, for he was born crippled. When he finds a baby sparrow that has fallen from its nest and died, he feels sorry for the tiny helpless bird, but no one else seems to care. Later, events in his life cause him to feel worthless and helpless, like the little bird. His grandmother tells him that God cares about him and the little bird, and even said; He sees the sparrow fall. But Jeremy asks, Ifn He saw it fall Grammaw, how come He let it die? And how come I was born crippled? She tells him about heaven, its golden streets, and that he is more precious than gold. She also tells him, in heaven everything will be beautiful and that he wont be crippled. Thinking God might change the little bird into a golden one, Cause they aint too purty down here, he asks God to send him a golden sparrow. That way, hell know God hears him, loves him, and that he wont be crippled in heaven. During his search for a golden sparrow, his faith touches many, from an old man Hermit Bill, to Scotty Simmons (a kid who makes fun of him). The story was written, because during a difficult time in my life, I had asked God to give me something to write about that will touch peoples hearts. A week later, I happen to see a white sparrow with gold wing patches. Then after I had already begun the book, I found with the white one, a real golden sparrow!

Book Synopsis Evolution: The Big Lie!: The "theory" Has Never Been Proven and Can't Be, Here's Why by : Kenneth Edward Barnes
Download or read book Evolution: The Big Lie!: The "theory" Has Never Been Proven and Can't Be, Here's Why written by Kenneth Edward Barnes and published by . This book was released on 2017-06-13 with total page 120 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Most believe that evolution is a fact. The fact is, it is still a theory and has never been proven and can't be. Why? Because it is not true! I have studied nature since childhood and am an outdoor writer. I have also studied the Bible for over fifty years. In this book, I give some startling facts that show that evolution could not have accounted for the complex variety of life. I also give some Bible verses, which show that God is the Creator and that those that believe in evolution must have "faith" in a world that has created itself. In writing this little book, which is contains about 25,500 words, I will be using some quotes and a couple of excerpts from a few of my other books already written. I will also use quotes from so-called "experts" to show how ridiculous their thinking is and what they say to explain creation without a creator. I even have a quote from a world-renowned atheist and professor that studied human DNA. After his research, he said that not only did God exist, but also that God had to have designed life. He said that evolution could not have happened!

Book Synopsis The Five Dimensions of Sex by : Kenneth Edward Barnes
Download or read book The Five Dimensions of Sex written by Kenneth Edward Barnes and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2017-07-13 with total page 108 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Everyone reading these words came into the world because of sex. Sex is a topic we all love to read about. We want sex in our marriage to be good or even better than it is. There are five different levels of sex and that is why I wrote this book most only know two or three levels. I have written this short book of about 30,000 words to try to help married couples have a closer and more fulfilling relationship. If you do not have a good relationship outside the bedroom, most likely you will not have a good sexual relationship either. On the other hand, if your sex life is a disappointment it can cause the entire relationship to suffer and maybe even fail. In the book, I discuss ways to have better sex and why this is important. I will be discussing adult topics, but in a loving, monogamous, marital relationship. I will also say why this is important. There are problems that all couples have in marriage and these can and do affect their sexual relationship. I will address these problems also and show ways to deal with them.
