La primera parte del libro nos muestra los elementos basicos de la educacion psicomotriz y se define en ella el marco conceptual en el que ha de incluirse la educacion a traves de las acciones motrices. En la segunda parte, se describe el desarrollo motor del nino (motricidad global y motricidad fina), que subtiende a la formacion del esquema corporal, y las caracteristicas de la torpeza; tambien se explica la adquisicion de la lateralidad. En la tercera parte, se aborda el aprendizaje de la escritura, la lectura, las matematicas, las ciencias y la organizacion espacial y temporal. En cada uno de estos apartados, se presentan primeramente los principios teoricos mas importantes de cada aprendizaje y luego seanalizan las interacciones entre la accion motriz o los elementos del desarrollo psicomotor y este aprendizaje. De esta manera, la tesis la hemos dividido en cuatro grandes bloques. En el primero hemos desarrollado un amplio, pero creemos que necesario marco teórico, con el propósito de fundamentar una propuesta de paradigma de educación fisica para la etapa de la educación infantil, y para ello hemos: ·Analizado la evolución de la educación fisica hasta la actualidad, y hemos presentado los aspectos que definen el paradigma de educación fisica surgido de la LOGSE. ·Analizado la incidencia que históricamente ha tenido la educación fisica en la educación infantil, y su desarrollo dentro de la misma, asi como el papel de los contenidos corporales y matrices en los curriculos de la educación infantil, de la LOGSE y la LOE, y la situación actual. ·Abordado el estudio de las causas que han llevado a una situación de confusion, y a veces hasta de conflicto entre la psicomotricidad y la educación fisica en la educación infantil. Y para tal propósito hemos realizado una clarificación conceptual de la psicomotricidad y de las diferentes acepciones del termino. Hemos analizado el desarrollo de la psicomotricidad como disciplina diferenciada de la educación fisica y del ambito psicomotriz integrado en la propia educación fisica. ·Estudiado los principales referentes pedagógicos de la educación infantil, desde Comenius, pasando por Rousseau y Pestalozzi, hasta Piaget y Vigotsky, con el prop6sito de conocer el valor que estos otorgaban al ámbito corporal y motriz en los primeros años de la infancia, asi como el valor de diferentes contenidos de la educación fisica, especialmente del juego. ·Fundamentado un modelo de educación fisica, a partir de un modelo de educación que concibe a la persona desde su unidad y que tiene como meta incidir en el desarrollo de todas sus dimensiones a partir de los contenidos y recurses que le son propios. ·Analizado el desarrollo motor de los 0 a los 6 años y su incidencia en la totalidad de la persona, con el objetivo de poner las bases de una educación fisica realmente valiosa que contribuya en la educación de los niños de 0a 6 años, a partir de unas propuestas pedagógicas que tengan en cuenta sus características y necesidades. ·Analizado los diferentes contenidos de la educación fisica con el prop6sito de mostrar sus posibilidades y riqueza educativa, y la importancia de favorecer su presencia a lo largo de toda la etapa de la educación infantil. En el segundo bloque de la tesis hemos presentado el trabajo de campo, en el que explicamos los metodos y estrategias utilizadas en la investigación, así como el proceso de análisis de los datos cualitativos. En el tercer bloque hemos presentado y realizado un análisis basico de los resultados obtenidos en las diversas operaciones realizadas a través del ATLAS/ti. They are also able, in the success of their efforts to mitigate the educational impact of the pandemic, to create better futures, as the result of the innovations they can generate. This challenges the view of universities as "ivory towers" being isolated from the surrounding environment and detached from local problems.
