Notre hypothèse de recherche est que la démarche de la dictée à l'expert peut être utilisée auprès d'un public sourd avec la langue des signes comme langue des interactions. Pour répondre à cette hypothèse, nous avons testé sur une base longitudinale l'efficacité de la démarche de dictée à l'adulte auprès de 5 enfants sourds locuteurs de la LSF scolarisés en CLIS dans une école de Nevers (Nièvre). L'analyse des corpus met à jour le rôle de la dictée à l'expert en LSF dans la progression de ces enfants vers la maîtrise de l'écrit.

Ainsi, l'apprentissage de la lecture et de l'écriture se fait en relation avec un ensemble de développements complexes construits progressivement depuis la naissance. Chez l'enfant sourd, ces développements, notamment le développement syntaxique et la structuration/compréhension du récit, sont souvent peu avancés au moment de l'entrée dans l'écrit. Il apparaît donc pertinent d'examiner ces développements et de les mettre en lien avec le cheminement en lecture et en écriture. L'étude présentée dans ce mémoire, réalisée auprès de quatre élèves sourds de 1re année du primaire évoluant dans un contexte scolaire oraliste, visait ainsi à mettre en relation leur niveau de développement syntaxique, de structuration/compréhension du récit à l'oral et à l'écrit et de conceptualisation du système d'écriture et avec leur cheminement en lecture et en écriture au cours de l'année scolaire. Les résultats obtenus font ressortir le défi important des enfants sourds au regard de l'apprentissage de l'écriture et de la lecture et laisse entrevoir l'importance des développements qui soutiennent l'entrée dans l'écrit pour le cheminement en première année du primaire. Les quatre élèves de l'étude ont tous cheminé en écriture, et ce, dans les différentes composantes d'une production écrite. Cependant, le passage vers la lecture autonome s'est avéré plus ardu d'où l'importance de poursuivre le travail intensif sur les difficultés langagières entravant cet apprentissage.

The most common strategy for addressing this kind of transgression relies on policing and prisons. But through examining commonly accepted typologies of high-risk intimate partner violence, Ardath Whynacht shows that policing can be understood as part of the same root problem as the violence it seeks to mend and provides an abolitionist frame for the most dangerous forms of intimate partner violence. This book illustrates that the origins of both the carceral state and toxic masculinity are situated in settler colonialism and racial capitalism and sees police homicide and domestic homicide as akin. Describing an experience of domestic homicide in her community and providing a deeply personal analysis of some of the most recent cases of homicide in Canada, the author inhabits the complexity of seeking abolitionist justice. Insurgent Love traces the major risk factors for domestic homicide within the structures of racial capitalism and suggests transformative, anti-capitalist, anti-racist, feminist approaches for safety, prevention and justice.
