C'est pourquoi un compromis entre les objectifs et la considération multicritère est proposé. Pour déterminer les coûts et avantages marginaux des stratégies de gestion de la reproduction et de la stratégie optimale maximisant les revenus des agriculteurs sous contrainte de main-d'oeuvre, un modèle d'optimisation bioéconomique innovant (DairyHealthSim®) est utilisé. Le modèle de simulation de la partie biologique est basé sur la chaîne Markof sur une durée de 10 ans sur une base vache-semaine qui prend en compte toutes les maladies et les résultats de la production et leurs interactions. L'évaluation économique d'optimisation est basée sur le coût d'opportunité d'une gestion non optimale et le coût marginal de la charge de travail supplémentaire des agriculteurs grâce à une représentation holistique de la dynamique du troupeau et une représentation ouverte des producteurs de la chaîne de valeur. Les résultats montrent que lorsque l'éleveur est progressivement contraint sur sa charge de travail liée à la reproduction, des solutions optimales suggèrent un changement de stratégie pour le taux de détection. Lorsqu'une contrainte plus élevée sur la longévité est appliquée, les résultats optimaux suggèrent un changement dans la stratégie de période d'attente volontaire uniquement pour un niveau élevé de contraintes sur la main-d'oeuvre. La marge brute annuelle moyenne de l'agriculteur est très sensible à DR et peu à VWP. Le gain marginal moyen par heure supplémentaire consacrée à la détection des chaleurs varie de 166 € à 450 €.

DairyHealthSim® est un modèle bioéconomique innovant simulant le troupeau de façon holistique et dynamique tandis que l'optimisation économique multicritère détermine les pratiques optimisant le revenu selon les contraintes de temps de travail et de réduction d'antibiotique. Les résultats montrent que les scénarios avec des hygiènes au niveau des aires de couchage et en salle de traite équilibrées sont plus favorables. De bonnes pratiques de logement permettent une baisse de 10-20% de l'usage des antibiotiques et limite le temps de travail supplémentaire. De plus un traitement sélectif avec obturateur au tarissement limite l'usage des antibiotiques et n'impacte ni le revenu ni le temps de travail. Les réductions d'exposition aux antibiotiques via une amélioration des pratiques d'hygiène sont intéressante économiquement surtout lors de situation où ces pratiques sont dégradées.

Afin de déterminer les décisions de gestions optimales en élevage laitier, nous avons simulé à l'aide du modèle bioéconomique DairyHealthSim® différentes stratégies de gestion de la reproduction tel que l'amélioration du taux de détection de chaleurs et le rallongement de la période d'attente volontaire, dans 3 différents contextes d'hygiène des bâtiments (H) et de prévalence des boiteries (LS). Les simulations sont couplées à un modèle d'optimisation multicritères qui permet de de déterminer à travers des compromis de temps de travail de l'éleveur, d'exposition aux antibiotiques et de longévité des vaches, les optimums économiques pour chaque situation. Les résultats montrent que le principal indicateur de gestion de la reproduction ayant un impact sur les résultats économiques de l'atelier laitier est celui de la détection des chaleurs. Une meilleure détection des chaleurs peut permettre d'obtenir un gain différentiel jusqu'à 220,45 € par heure d'observation pour un temps de détection passant de 0 à 15 minutes par jour. Un compromis doit cependant être trouvé afin de concilier santé (boiteries, autres pathologies), longévité du troupeau et réduction de l'exposition aux antibiotiques.
