That my family would welcome my death.Then one day my Mom noticed how lifeless I was and told me it was time to stop drifting and time to re-anchor. Re-anchor myself in God's Word. As she put it, "go to the well and drink the Living Water".So, I pressed into God's Word and discovered Scripture that would help me to understand, manage and survive my Season of Struggle. I was still in my season, but the re-anchoring had begun.When you are knee deep in a season, it is very difficult to see God's movement. You are so focused on surviving you have no thoughts of thriving. When you anchor yourself in God's Word you will discover Scripture that teaches and empowers you to know that even though there are times we may not hear, feel or see Him in our lives - God is there always. I encourage you today to anchor yourself in God's Word. Expect to be refreshed, renewed, restored. Expect to increase your faith, trust, hope and joy. Expect to receive knowledge, wisdom and understanding. Expect to draw nearer to God.
