Download or read book Stochastic Control and Filtering over Constrained Communication Networks written by Qinyuan Liu and published by Springer. This book was released on 2018-10-24 with total page 233 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Stochastic Control and Filtering over Constrained Communication Networks presents up-to-date research developments and novel methodologies on stochastic control and filtering for networked systems under constrained communication networks. It provides a framework of optimal controller/filter design, resilient filter design, stability and performance analysis for the systems considered, subject to various kinds of communication constraints, including signal-to-noise constraints, bandwidth constraints, and packet drops. Several techniques are employed to develop the controllers and filters desired, including: recursive Riccati equations; matrix decomposition; optimal estimation theory; and mathematical optimization methods. Readers will benefit from the book’s new concepts, models and methodologies that have practical significance in control engineering and signal processing. Stochastic Control and Filtering over Constrained Communication Networks is a practical research reference for engineers dealing with networked control and filtering problems. It is also of interest to academics and students working in control and communication networks.
Book Synopsis Cooperative Guidance & Control of Missiles Autonomous Formation by : Sentang Wu
Download or read book Cooperative Guidance & Control of Missiles Autonomous Formation written by Sentang Wu and published by Springer. This book was released on 2018-07-03 with total page 374 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book primarily illustrates the rationale, design and technical realization/verification for the cooperative guidance and control systems (CGCSs) of missile autonomous formation (MAF). From the seven functions to the five major compositions of CGCS, the book systematically explains the theory and modeling, analysis, synthesis and design of CGCSs for MAF, including bionics-based theories. Further, the book addresses how to create corresponding digital simulation analysis systems, as well as hardware in the loop (HIL) simulation test systems and flight test systems, to evaluate the combat effectiveness of MAF. Lastly, it provides detailed information on digital simulation analysis for a large range of wind tunnel test data, as well as test results of HIL system simulations and embedded systems testing.
Book Synopsis Controllability, Stabilization, and the Regulator Problem for Random Differential Systems by : Russell Johnson
Download or read book Controllability, Stabilization, and the Regulator Problem for Random Differential Systems written by Russell Johnson and published by American Mathematical Soc.. This book was released on 1998 with total page 63 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume develops a systematic study of time-dependent control processes. The basic problem of null controllability of linear systems is first considered. Using methods of ergodic theory and topological dynamics, general local null controllability criteria are given. Then the subtle question of global null controllability is studied. Next, the random linear feedback and stabilization problem is posed and solved. Using concepts of exponential dichotomy and rotation number for linear Hamiltonian systems, a solution of the Riccati equation is obtained which has extremely good robustness properties and which also preserves all the smoothness and recurrence properties of the coefficients. Finally, a general version of the local nonlinear feedback stabilization problem is solved.
Book Synopsis Theory of Random Functions by : V. S. Pugachev
Download or read book Theory of Random Functions written by V. S. Pugachev and published by Elsevier. This book was released on 2013-10-22 with total page 852 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Theory of Random Functions and Its Application to Control Problems presents insights into a branch of probability theory, the theory of random functions, which studies and takes into account the effects of random factors on the functioning of control systems. The book does not require a high level of competency in the use of mathematical techniques and explains the basics of probability theory before focusing on the concepts of the theory of random functions. The selection also discusses in great detail the aspects of random functions and provides chapters that cover the determination and solution to problems of optimal systems. The text will be of value to telecommunications engineers, aeronautical engineers, meteorologists, seismologists, and other professionals engaged in applied sciences.

Book Synopsis Robust Control for Uncertain Networked Control Systems with Random Delays by : Dan Huang
Download or read book Robust Control for Uncertain Networked Control Systems with Random Delays written by Dan Huang and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2009-07-06 with total page 159 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Robust Control for Uncertain Networked Control Systems with Random Delays" addresses the problem of analysis and design of networked control systems when the communication delays are varying in a random fashion. The random nature of the time delays is typical for commercially used networks, such as a DeviceNet (which is a controller area network) and Ethernet network. The main technique used in this book is based on the Lyapunov-Razumikhin method, which results in delay-dependent controllers. The existence of such controllers and fault estimators are given in terms of the solvability of bilinear matrix inequalities. Iterative algorithms are proposed to change this non-convex problem into quasi-convex optimization problems, which can be solved effectively by available mathematical tools. Finally, to demonstrate the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed design method in the book, numerical examples are given in each designed control system.
