Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The book is about good leadership, for leaders to lead by actions and not by words of lies from their mouths. Leaders should be doggedly determined to give the people fair leadership. Nakinostran was struck and devastated by the mercilessly cruelest earthquake disaster. In the aftermath of the earthquake, there were spontaneous nuclear plant meltdowns across the country. The survivors watched helplessly all the nuclear plants melting down like candle waxes. Nakinostran was a well developed nation with greatest leaders seen by the people as only second to God because of their excellent leadership of oneness, love, peace and development and equality, not this fake equality we only let out of our mouths. The people, like any other, seeing the level of devastations, had different personal views, doubts and fears. They saw these devastations as their greatest obstacle to returning to a normal life again. Most of them had lost all hopes in life because of the malignant complications of the wickedest earthquake. Many people said that's it; Nakinostran is finished. But the doggedly determined young president, Henry Rupchang was only angered and bitterly touched at heart by the deaths. He had the courage and determination that the country will rise again. He was undaunted. He mustered what supports he could for the reconstructions of the country. He continuously told his people that nothing is impossible under this cone-shape heaven that 'umbrellaed' our earth. His commitment was undiminished and despite the devastations, he unflinchingly told them the nation will rise again. All the leaders in the country bust the gut to reconstruct the country and with unity they worked as a people, though not without some distractions from some protesters. The leaders didn't lost a second in their sleep...did the president succeed...as in the end, it was a heartwarming people.

It is argued that the familiar transformational treatment of complementizers is inadequate, and that they must be specified in deep structure by means of a Phrase Structure rule. This title will be of interest to students of language and linguistics.

Book excerpt: The time was the great rift between fallen angels, as humans; it was the supposed time of the great freedom when there were no rules on earth. And, that time was when earth wasn't even called earth. It was nothing to them and something in the same moment. The fallen angels almost had the same kind of planet, as Aubrahteery, which they gave up. It was warm and lit all the time. There was no darkness, no coldness, and no desolation. Until, their dark hearts took over and began to change their surroundings. What the fallen angels also didn't realize was that their new home verged changing with the reality of the darkness lying in the root of their hearts. The fallen angels didn't realize that darkness and negativity carried a lot more dead weight with it, which is ultimately what forged the slowing planet with all the fallen angels, as humans upon her surface.

Book excerpt: Sir James Somerville (1882-1949) was one of the great influences on the 20th-century navy, both as a commander of fleets and a pioneer of radio and radar. The Admiral's extensive correspondence, diaries and reports are deposited in the Churchill Archives Centre at Cambridge. These edited selections reveal much of the background about major naval operations in the Second World War. The loneliness of high command is clearly revealed in these highly personal documents, almost 500 of which are reproduced in the book. In particular they show Somerville's frequent disagreements with Churchill - a feature common to all senior British commanders during the war.

It's a place and time where they are abused by White students and teachers, where Tiana struggles with wanting to be a cheerleader in a squad where even high yellow Black girls were only there so that the school wouldn't seem so racist. But she is a Black girl the color of Iman (the model). That means, she's among the darkest of the Negro race. And she struggles with a love for a mulatto named Nicadeemius who has won the heart of the school, but who wouldn't give her a second glance except to abuse her. Will she win his heart? A good question when one of the four friends is a mulatto who is just as light skinned as he is and might seem better suited for his attention. It follows them to where Heracio - the Latino friend - enters college and finds Nicadeemius there. The question is raise: Is Nicadeemius a Muslim? And then there's Sally Turner. What can be said about Sally Turner? Later, Tiana and Phylisha work at the same job with their new friend Nancy Curtis. A beautiful, mulatto, co-worker has his eyes on Tiana; but he brings back too many memories of Tinkle High and Nicadeemius. Phylisha insists that Tiana give him a chance. But Tiana insists that he's just like Nicadeemius. Will he be able to break through the barriers in Tiana's heart? Will he fall for Phylisha? What will become of the beautiful Black roses?

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A compelling series of insightful biographical sketches of the men and women of the York County Bar commencing eleven years before the start of the Civil War as recounted by contemporaries and colleagues. Candid, sincere, honest, and on occasion with a touch of comic relief, these memorial minutes are tributes to those who have made their rendezvous with mortality. Found within these volumes is the venerable Jeremiah S. Black who walked the corridors of national recognition during the Civil War era; the urbane and brilliant Herbert B. Cohen who wielded substantial political power throughout the commonwealth and rose to become an associate justice of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court; and the charismatic Harvey Gross whose superb advocacy in the third Hex trial and subsequent twenty-year tenure on the York County Orphans’ Court placed him in the forefront of the princes of Anglo-Saxon jurisprudence. This “callout” of the giants in no way diminishes the significance, commitment, and integrity of the many other remarkable individuals who came after and counseled and inspired others to live honestly, to exercise compassion, and to act with prudence and diligence, and above all else made their contribution to the vast and diverse panorama of our humanity. Not a typical memoir or story, these memorial minutes constitute the defining epic of the York County Bar. More than history, more than recitals of character and personality, and more than delightful encounters and more somber content, they are about individuals remembered for the richness and power of their hopes, achievements, and commitments to the timeless values of the life of the law.
