The organization and management of the affairs of the school were placed in the hands of a Board of Directors consisting of six members. This board was named as the Board of Trustees by the Code of 1897. At the close of the present fiscal year, June 30, 1909, the servis of this present Board expires and a new board, cald the State Board of Education, assumes charge by authority of an act of the Thirty-third General Assembly.
