Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: *IF YOU BUY THE PAPER VERSION YOU GET THE KINDLE VERSION FOR FREE* ⭐⭐⭐ Algebra 1 Workbook ⭐⭐⭐ This book contains: Basic operations, number and integers, properties, rules and tips Monomials, Binomials and Polynomials operations How to find Least Common Multiple and Greatest Common Factor, Factorization and Prime Numbers Different types of expressions, and related ways of solutions Different types of equations, Inequalities and Functions with the related ways of solutions Many exercises the reader can do for each different argument with related explanations and solutions Algebra is a very noteworthy subfield of mathematics in its versatility alone if nothing else. You will be hard-pressed to find one single area of mathematics that is taught after algebra in which algebra is not practiced in almost every situation. The most general and the most commonly used definition of algebra is the study of mathematical symbols as well as the study of the manipulation of these symbols. Mathematical symbols are one of the most basic elements of mathematics, aside from numbers themselves and operation symbols, so the study of these symbols is one of the most important studies that one can take up as far as mathematics is concerned. To that end, in this book, you will find some of the most important topics regarding algebra. These include but are not limited to the following: understanding integers and basic operations, inequalities and one-step operations; fractions and factors; the main rules of arithmetic; linear equations in the coordinate plane, expressions, equations and functions; real numbers; solving linear equations; visualizing linear functions, linear equations, linear inequalities, systems of linear equations and inequalities; exponents and exponential function; polynomials, quadratic equations, radical expression, radical equations, rational expressions; and finally, intermediate topics in algebra.

Book Synopsis Entire and Meromorphic Functions by : Lee A. Rubel
Download or read book Entire and Meromorphic Functions written by Lee A. Rubel and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2012-12-06 with total page 196 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Mathematics is a beautiful subject, and entire functions is its most beautiful branch. Every aspect of mathematics enters into it, from analysis, algebra, and geometry all the way to differential equations and logic. For example, my favorite theorem in all of mathematics is a theorem of R. NevanJinna that two functions, meromorphic in the whole complex plane, that share five values must be identical. For real functions, there is nothing that even remotely corresponds to this. This book is an introduction to the theory of entire and meromorphic functions, with a heavy emphasis on Nevanlinna theory, otherwise known as value-distribution theory. Things included here that occur in no other book (that we are aware of) are the Fourier series method for entire and mero morphic functions, a study of integer valued entire functions, the Malliavin Rubel extension of Carlson's Theorem (the "sampling theorem"), and the first-order theory of the ring of all entire functions, and a final chapter on Tarski's "High School Algebra Problem," a topic from mathematical logic that connects with entire functions. This book grew out of a set of classroom notes for a course given at the University of Illinois in 1963, but they have been much changed, corrected, expanded, and updated, partially for a similar course at the same place in 1993. My thanks to the many students who prepared notes and have given corrections and comments.

This book was released on 2019-11-18 with total page 359 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is a reader-friendly introduction to the theory of symmetric functions, and it includes fundamental topics such as the monomial, elementary, homogeneous, and Schur function bases; the skew Schur functions; the Jacobi–Trudi identities; the involution ω ω; the Hall inner product; Cauchy's formula; the RSK correspondence and how to implement it with both insertion and growth diagrams; the Pieri rules; the Murnaghan–Nakayama rule; Knuth equivalence; jeu de taquin; and the Littlewood–Richardson rule. The book also includes glimpses of recent developments and active areas of research, including Grothendieck polynomials, dual stable Grothendieck polynomials, Stanley's chromatic symmetric function, and Stanley's chromatic tree conjecture. Written in a conversational style, the book contains many motivating and illustrative examples. Whenever possible it takes a combinatorial approach, using bijections, involutions, and combinatorial ideas to prove algebraic results. The prerequisites for this book are minimal—familiarity with linear algebra, partitions, and generating functions is all one needs to get started. This makes the book accessible to a wide array of undergraduates interested in combinatorics.

Book Synopsis Systems of Equations by : Chris McMullen
Download or read book Systems of Equations written by Chris McMullen and published by Zishka Publishing. This book was released on 2015-08-05 with total page 184 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: CONTENTS: This algebra 2 workbook is devoted to solving systems of equations. Specifically, it helps to develop fluency with the following algebra skills: solving two equations with two unknowns (x and y) solving three equations with three unknowns (x, y, and z) the method of substitution simultaneous equations (setting up equal and opposite coefficients) 2x2 and 3x3 determinants Cramer's rule for systems of equations AUTHOR: Chris McMullen earned his Ph.D. in physics from Oklahoma State University and currently teaches physics at Northwestern State University of Louisiana. He developed the Improve Your Math Fluency series of workbooks to help students become more fluent in basic math skills. EXAMPLES: Each section begins with a concise description of the main concepts, an outline of the strategy, and an example with explanations. The examples should serve as a useful guide until students are able to solve the problems independently. ANSWERS: Answers to 100% of the exercises are tabulated at the back of the book. This helps students develop confidence and ensures that students practice correct techniques, rather than practice making mistakes. PRACTICE: With no pictures, this workbook is geared strictly toward learning the material and developing fluency through practice. PHOTOCOPIES: The copyright notice permits parents/teachers who purchase one copy or borrow one copy from a library to make photocopies for their own children/students only. This is very convenient if you have multiple children/students or if a child/student needs additional practice.
