Book excerpt: Excerpt from School Laws of the State of Alabama: With Blank Forms and Instructions At the late meeting of the Board of Education, November 16th, 1869, a committee was appointed to col late and codify the school laws of the State, that are in force, as passed by the Board of Education under the new Constitution of 1867, and also those in the Revised Code, that were legalized and adopted by the Board at its first session in 1868, with all the resolutions and rules of the Board, affecting the Free Public School interest of the State.
