Book excerpt: A companion book to Volume 1, Adopt the Jesus Mindset Volume 2 is certain to captivate more readers to the insight, vision, and perception of the greatest transformational leader of all time. Volume 2 is a must-read and will serve to inspire readers young and old to live, act, and think like their Savior and become all God envisioned them to be. The Scripture verses woven throughout are quotes from Jesus' actual words as recorded in the Four Gospels by His faithful followers. Readers will grasp the firsthand account of the Mindset of Jesus from a fresh perspective. Additionally, bibliophiles are invited to witness how Jesus exercised authority over adverse circumstance with the power of God's spoken Word combined with the force of faith. Throughout the New Testament Jesus urges persons at large to "Follow Me." For the record, "wise men and women still follow Him. Pursuers will see why Jesus was and is unstoppable and how He is still equipping unstoppable followers and arming them today as "New Creation Super Persons." Jesus challenged His followers then as He does now with the following admonition, "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father" (John 14:12, NIV). Additionally, as Jesus' mother, Mary stated, "Do whatever he tells you" (John 2:5, NIV). As well, in the New Living Translation, the apostle Paul challenges the church at Philippi by urging them as follows: "You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had..." (Phil.2:5, NLT). Hence, the same attitude mentioned here is synonymous with the term, "mindset." Yes, Jesus demonstrates the prime example of service, but He also shown on several occasions how to "have what you say and say what you desire" by utilizing faith as a servant as emphasized in this discourse (see Mark 11:22-24).
