Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Lotto Master Book of Numbers: Guide for Winners" is an exciting and insightful guide for lottery enthusiasts. This book shifts the focus from simply trying to win the lottery to enjoying it as a form of entertainment. With odds ranging from one in 179 million to one in 292 million, depending on the game, playing the lottery becomes more of a recreational activity than a money-making scheme. The author shares an intriguing perspective on playing the lottery, maintaining the dream of becoming a millionaire while acknowledging the reality of the odds. The core of the book delves into the concept of lotto wheels and how to effectively use them, enhancing your lottery experience. Included are 26 detailed strategies for selecting potential winning numbers. These strategies range from the Addition and Decade-Reduction strategies to more unique approaches like the Dowsing and Delta Lottery Number Reduction Strategies. The book also covers methods like the High and Low Strategy, the Hot and Cold Numbers Strategy, and various Sequential strategies, offering a wide range of techniques for every type of lottery player. While the author encourages readers to play responsibly, only spending what they can afford to lose, the book maintains an optimistic tone. It reminds readers that, while the odds may be steep, becoming an instant millionaire is still a possibility. "To your success in life and in playing the lottery!" encapsulates the spirit of the book—a blend of realistic advice, strategic guidance, and the undying thrill of the game.

The first chapter is a utopian fragment about a future country, Aleatoria, where everything, including political power, jobs and money, is distributed by lottery. The rest of the book is devoted to considering the idea of the lottery in terms of the conventional components and assumptions of theories of justice, and to reviewing the possible applications of lottery distribution in contemporary society. This revised second edition includes a new introduction.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This work is a complete mathematical guide to lottery games, covering all of the problems related to probability, combinatorics, and all parameters describing the lottery matrices, as well as the various playing systems. The mathematics sections describe the mathematical model of the lottery, which is in fact the essence of the lotto game. The applications of this model provide players with all the mathematical data regarding the parameters attached to the gaming events and personal playing systems. By applying these data, one can find all the winning probabilities for the play with one line (for each category in part or cumulatively), and how these probabilities change with playing the various types of systems containing several lines, depending on their structure. Also, each playing system has a formula attached that provides the number of possible multiple prizes in various circumstances. Other mathematical parameters of the playing systems and the correlations between them are also presented. The generality of the mathematical model and of the obtained formulas allows their application for any existent lottery (including variations like Keno) and any playing system. Each formula is followed by numerical results covering the most frequent lottery matrices worldwide and by multiple examples predominantly belonging to the 6/49 lottery. The listing of the numerical results in dozens of well-organized tables, along with instructions and examples of using them, makes possible the direct usage of this guide by players without a mathematical background. The author also discusses from a mathematical point of view the strategies of choosing involved in the lotto game. The book does not offer so-called winning strategies (proving that the only strategy is that of choosing), but helps players to better organize their own playing systems and to confront their own convictions (so many times based on false perceptions) with the incontestable reality offered by the direct applications of the mathematical model of the lotto game. As a must-have handbook for any lottery player, this book offers essential information about the game itself and can provide the basis for gaming decisions of any kind.

Are you among those who have ever tried to reveal an enigma? Well, join the community in that cause. This book is about my unique and, on the whole, victorious ways into the world of lotteries. Up to the summer of 2019 playing lotteries and collecting their prizes have always been more like my hobby than a kind of business because, limitedly, for 3 summer months can I be a lotto player and the rest of the time a successful English tutor, busy with numerous students. Once, on a 1985 spring day, I took part in a Pick 5in 35 draw. A few months later I won my first 4in5 prize with a payout of RR. Today, with all my lotto background summarized in this book, I agree wholeheartly with my Canadian friend Derek’s opinion at the end of his June 22, 2019 email: “With each email I follow your fantastic progress in TOP 3,...the hunch Yury, you have to play the hunch. ...Yes, APS is strong like MOG if ‘CHANCE’ is out to play and if MOG confirms APS. Confirmation is what I seek using MOG-APS and various strategies in GH. Use your inner talent, Yury. I’ve seen it for years, now bet on it. You are a strong player. Your MOG and my APS in KENO are fantastic player strategies no one else has.” In 2005 Derek came across my “The Proven Lotto System” document on eBay and he turned out to be a KENO winner with his own APS lotto system.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "In 1994, historian Stephen Stigler placed a mail-order purchase for a rare bit of ephemera from a French bookstore: a lottery Almanac from 1834. It contained the winning numbers for the entire span of the French Loterie from 1758 onward, including details on prizes actually awarded-difficult data to come by-as well as hand-written notes by an early owner. Stigler was fascinated with what he saw about how the Loterie was carried out, who bought tickets, and what size bets they placed, and so in the decades that followed he amassed booklets, legal documents, advertising bills, notices, contracts, and tickets. His own collection and extensive additional research helped him piece together the Loterie's remarkable inner workings, as well as its implications for how we understand the history of risk more broadly. In the 1750s at the urging of famed philandering adventurer Giocomo Casanova (who had recently escaped from a Venetian prison by means of a sharpened iron, an accomplice, a rope of bed sheets, and a stolen gondola), the French state began to embrace risk in its approach to the Loterie. The prize amounts varied depending on the number of tickets bought, and the amount of the bet was determined by each individual bettor. The state could lose money on any individual lot but was statistically guaranteed it would come out on top in the long run. Stigler follows the Loterie from its curious inception to a 1776 expansion, to its interruption during the French Revolution (but only with the Terror of 1793), to its renewal in 1797 and further expansion, and finally to its suppression in 1836, examining throughout the wider question of how members of the public came to trust in new financial technologies and believe in their value"--
