Churches today are trying anything and everything to be effective, but are bewildered by worship styles, spectator syndrome, and consumerism. In the meantime, people are hungry for a relationship with a God who has substance--a God with character and integrity, and a God of grace. And they're having trouble finding such a God in churches today. Seven Letters to Seven Churches is written to challenge the church to be what God created us to be and then do what God created us to do: join Him in His mission to save the world.

Book Synopsis End Time Revelation of the Seven Churches by : Apostle Bolatito Idowu
Download or read book End Time Revelation of the Seven Churches written by Apostle Bolatito Idowu and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2012-07-31 with total page 89 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is an assignment from heaven when I had and outer body experience to heaven. I was given few assignments for the end times. One of them was to write two books, and this is one of the books. End time Revelation of the seven churches. The book simple and explicit for everyone to understand regardless of your race, age, nationality or level of education. Every Christian on earth fits into one of the seven churches described in the book of Revelations in the bible. It is very important for every Christian to know which church he or she fits into and make necessary corrections, and repent in order to avoid the judgments of God. For if we would Judge ourselves, we should not be judged (1cor.11:31). We are blessed to have the opportunity (the Grace) from heaven to call our attention regarding the coming of the lord which is also known as The First Resurrection (rev 20:6).Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection; on such the second death hath no power. According to the revelation that I have from heaven, we are the last generation. Therefore, Individuals should take this message seriously if we really care for our souls. People should not play church nor have any motives other than pleasing God, and seeking for his will in all things. In other words walk in the spirit that you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Our God loves us more then what we can imagine and more than anyone or anything in this world. We should seek Him with all our hearts and do not fall into deception, because no one can deceive him. My advice is for individuals to pray and be very sincere to examine themselves to see which church they really fit into, so that adequate corrections can be made, and let God be glorified. If it is difficult to examine yourself, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal yourself to you. I am sure the Holy Spirit will do it, he may reveal through the words, prophecy, dreams, visions, words of knowledge, words of wisdom or through any other means of revelation. Whatever it takes to be right with him it is what we do. Enough of the deception on earth. We have the words of God to guide us and the Seven Churches as the examples of how God judges the church (Christians). This book is not mans doctrine of religion but the truth of the word, and the truth shall set us free, Amen.
Book Synopsis Christ's Call to Reform the Church by : John MacArthur
Download or read book Christ's Call to Reform the Church written by John MacArthur and published by Moody Publishers. This book was released on 2018-10-09 with total page 208 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What does the church need to hear today? As many have said, the church must always be reforming. It must continually move closer to a truer, more faithful expression of the gospel. The risen Christ’s powerful letters to the seven churches in Revelation are a guide to just that. Based on John MacArthur’s exposition of these letters, Christ’s Call to Reform the Church is a plea to the modern church to heed these divine warnings, to reform before it succumbs to the kinds of compromise and error that invite God’s judgment. Christ’s Call to Reform the Church admonishes the church today to learn from the mistakes God’s people have made in the past, rather than commit them again. The Word of God has many benefits, one of which is that it reveals our blind spots. That's what this book does—it shines a light on problems we didn't know we had. May it be embraced by Christians everywhere, spurring them toward the God-honoring, grace-driven work of continued reformation.
Book Synopsis Warnings to the Seven Churches by : Tina Blount
Download or read book Warnings to the Seven Churches written by Tina Blount and published by ReadHowYouWant. This book was released on 2012-07 with total page 216 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Church is being invaded by spiritual parasites that are causing weakness, paralysis, blindness, and ineffectiveness in the Body of Christ today. Using the seven churches of the Book of Revelation as the backdrop for her teaching on this vital subject, Tina Blount speaks directly and convincingly about: The parasite of busyness The parasite of fear The parasite of compromise The parasite of tolerance The parasite of blind hypocrisy The parasite of inferiority The parasite of complacency The author writes, Shortly after major surgery, I learned that a rare parasite had been found in my body, I later learned that if the parasite had lived, it would have traveled to my eyes, spiritual parasites do the same thing. They enter during moments of vulnerability or weakness, and, left unadressed, they will feed on the host until they render it useless or destroy it. This analogy is effective in that it not only warns us but it shows us how to deal with the problem through effective spiritual warfare. Let's heed the warning and protect the Chruch of Jesus Christ, our own lives, and our families through the strategies outlined in this eye - opening, helpful book.
